Here is a cam video I did for 5-28-23. In this video, which includes Slo-mo + Zoom, E22 makes a "catch" (appears to be plant material?) in the pond. Good practice for E22.
Link: https://youtu.be/z0DFYrW4XYE
"SWFL Eagle Cam 5-28-23. Home, Sweet Home! E22 at 141 days old on 5-28-23. "
E22 continues to remain in the nest tree area and territory, their "Home, Sweet Home". E22 turned 141 days old on 5-28-23, the same age E20 was at dispersal. E22 arrived for their sunrise check-in, and spent much of the day in the nest tree area. E22 explored and played at the Pasture Pond Playground, perched on the pond pylons and the overhang bush, claimed two deliveries from Dad, and attempted fishing in the pond, catching a small floating object! The fishing attempt is shown in slo-mo/zoom, followed by normal time. The two deliveries are on a separate video ( link: https://youtu.be/kC1d8xPxAf8 ). At the end of the day, E22 leaves for their roost spot. Time stamps below, if interested. Click on any time stamp to advance to that part.
Time stamps: Provided in DVR time; actual time is on the cam clock.
00:00. Opening.
00:08. Cam3. E22 arrives for the sunrise check-in.
00:18. Cam1. E22 arrives for the sunrise check-in.
04:10. E22 flies to the pond area.
04:32. E22 on the office lawn, perches on pylon.
05:06. E22 to the overhang bush.
05:22. E22 pulls up an underwater treasure, + a bottom dip.
06:47. E22 moves out of view with the treasure, then back to the overhang branch.
07:06. From the pond bank! E22 flies to the cove with a small stick in their beak (slo-mo).
07:18. E22 on a cove pylon with the stick.
08:00. Watching the world go by, + preening.
09:15. E22 by the cove fence, picks up a stick.
09:58. E22 on a pond pylon, moves to the next pylon, then leaves the pylon.
10:31. Later, E22 is again on a pond pylon. CamOps provides close-up view.
13:46. Slo-mo w/zoom. E22 sees a small floating object in the pond. (It was probably plant material, you can see it drift right to left.) E22 flies across the pond, grabs the item, lands on the SW bank.
14:16. Replay, normal time.
14:28. E22 to the water at the edge of the SW bank.
15:40. E22 flies out of cam view.
15:50. E22 has recently finished eating a squirrel.
16:18. Cam1/Cam3. E22 leaves the nest tree, heading to their roost spot.
Here are some scaps from my video:

Here is my cam video for 5-29-23. Video includes Slo-mo + Zoom!
Link: https://youtu.be/kghaEyIiLWE
"SWFL Eagle Cam 5-29-23. The Mighty M15 Pulls a Slick Trick on the Intruder; E22 Gets the Prey! "
Video coverage starts with M15 flying in with a delivery, shown first in slo-mo + zoom. M15 is followed by E22, and the intruder is also flying in. The intruder overtakes E22, and it appears to me that E22 is going into a roll/presenting feet at the intruder right as the hubcap tree blocks the clear view of E22. M15 goes to the nest, the intruder to the attic, and E22 to a branch below the nest. M15, always adapting, immediately leaves with the prey. Replay in normal time. The replay includes the view showing E22 mantling while on the branch below the intruder, and the intruder leaving in the same direction M15 flew. E22 moves to the attic to wait for Dad. M15 returns nine minutes after leaving, delivering squirrel prey. E22 claims the prey, and M15 leaves for the pond. M15 heads to the office oak, and E22 finishes the food. When done eating, E22 flies to the office oak. Time stamps below, if interested. Click on any time stamp to advance to that part.

00:49. Replay, normal time.
01:12. Cam1. M15's wing is seen as he lands in the nest, intruder lands on the attic.
01:31. Intruder leaves.
01:41. Intruder on attic, E22 mantling below. Intruder leaves.
01:56. E22 flies out, returns to nest.
02:20. Cam1. E22 in the nest, moves to the attic.
05:14. Cam3. M15 returns with prey, nine minutes after leaving.
05:50. E22 reacts to seeing Dad flying in, drops to nest, claims the prey. M15 leaves the nest.
06:42. M15 flies to the pond.
07:07. E22 with squirrel prey.
10:41. M15 to the office oak.
11:40. E22 finishes the prey.

E22 came back to inner branch of the nest tree to perch as the sun was starting to set and did some preening and squeeing waiting and hoping for Dad to come back with a meal. Every day we have with E22 is special and we never know when it will be the last time we see E22 before it takes off on its journey. Harriet would be so proud of both E21 and E22 - her last babies and legacy she left to the world. M15 has given Harriet the greatest gift of all....raising both E's to fledging and overcoming all odds so they can carry on her legacy. What a beautiful testament of his love for her! Thank you for watching!
