Thank you Journi & Lovin nature-
Your posts this morning were my thoughts as well. Prayed all weekend for this eagle family and Harriet.
Too hard for me to check in but once a day for now. Not sure where Vicki is, but maybe if she could visit the nest; those eagles know her voice! Might be comforting?

Will continue to stay positive and pray!

Although I don't post much and don't participate in chat, I read this forum (and chat) every day, many times a day. I live alone and work from home and these eagles are such a big part of my life. What is happening is devastating !! I have seen things like this happen on other nests, but usually when there was apparent evidence of aggressive intruders, etc. Unless I missed it, and I know a lot goes on that is not seen on camera, but I didn't see anything like that here. I'm trying so very hard to stay hopeful and not to speculate . . . I have had to stop watching the cameras so much since last week, it has really taken a lot out of me, but I will continue to follow, read and observe as much as I can. I appreciate all of you who contribute to this forum. I feel like I know each of you, but haven't introduced myself . . .
~Denise~

Denise I guess you must have missed the intruders. There were several but there was one in particular who gave them the most trouble and Harriet may have taken off after that one when she flew off the nest tree for the last time. We just don't know anything for sure unfortunately

Thank you for that link, MaryF. I wish Wink would explain how locals can help. What to do and Not do. Who to call.

Group hug! This is so difficult though what we signed up for. The entire eagle watching world is learning from what we are witnessing. We know it happens often without cameras but it really hurts when it's our nest and eagles we know and love. Thank you to the Pritchetts for keeping the cameras running. We need this to get through this.

 Hi Denise--Glad to know you watch and care about the eagles. I too live alone and they are a part of my life. Don't stay on the sidelines so much. Chatting with others that love the eagles is helpful. Not a cure for the pain that we are all feeling right now, but helpful.

Hello Denise, I too am vested in this family. I don’t participate in chat either but like you read every word. I started watching this nest with E9. Only signed up here when the babies had their eye issues but don’t really post much. I too have turned off my live feed as it’s hard to watch as E 21 gets stronger, hoping E22 can figure out how to get food. The mods have been great to remind us we are just observers and we must let nature do its thing. I never knew Ozzie but guessing this is just the circle of life in real time just this time with H. My heart is broken :brknhrt: because I know it’s been too long for a return. I pray I’m wrong, please H prove me wrong. I also thank everyone who posts here. I will keep praying for good news. :grhug: :eag:

:grhug: Good afternoon everyone...I had some meetings to go to and just now getting here to the forum.
Hello Suemac! Thanks for capturing those feeding s'caps!
:thumlft:

:eag: 1:14pm - M15 in with what seems to be a partial fish.
(M15 may have fed himself first before coming to the nest...?)

1:14pm - E21 got fed while E22 knew what to do and watched and waited...

1:36pm - After E21 was full, she/he went over to the nest rail.
M15 got closer to E22 which allowed E22 to grab some food. :thumlft:

The @around 1:55pm, E21 wanted more food and went over and pecked at E22's back. E22 went into submission mode.
E21 took a few more bites and then backed away. E22 then reached for more food from M15 @1:58pm
Both of them now had full crops.

1710-1721 Once E21 has her/his fill again walks away... and E22 gets an uninterrupted feeding.
M15 gets some bites too. E21 doesn't cower as much when E21 walks near- seems to slowly be getting confidence
