0917 A large bird flies from the south and toward east side of pond.
It is NOT an eagle. Looks like a great blue heron with those long legs

0924 A squirrel is found on tree above the pond cove.

A couple of people in today's chat said they saw E22, yet no one gave a TS. Would have been nice to see E22,
if that was E22 that they saw. Cam op couldn't find.
Sorry That was not an eagle. But at 9:30:22am on cam 1 there might have been an eagle that soared from south to NE. Look at upper right corner of screen. Hope this helps
I did see what may have been an eagle. Thanks for the timestamp.

The 9:30:22am timestamp looks like an eagle...great eagle eyes! Please check cam 1 at 14:37:36 and 14:37:42 - eagles or not? I can't tell without a squee. :oops2:

Forum Update Scheduled
this evening - June 5, 2023

(our live streaming cams and the hancockwildlife.org website will not be affected)

Hi everyone! As you may have noticed, the forum has been sort of slow some of the time lately, taking longer than usual to open a thread or to import an attachment or to submit your post.

We (meaning our tech person, David Hathaway) has found a few things that should help, and he's planning to do the first one this evening. As you may know, the forum is huge - more than 650.000 posts and well over a million attachments - so it will take some time to run the update.

We are hoping the forum will be back online sometime tomorrow morning - but even though the test run went smoothly, it might take a bit longer than that. If we have additional updates, I'll be posting them on my WildlifeCamWatch website, which is sort of an emergency contact place for when this forum is down. The link to the update thread is is https://www.wildlifecamwatch.com/viewto ... 1632#p1632 in case you'd like to bookmark it; you don't need to be a member to read the updates.

Thanks for your patience as we work on this! Please feel free to share this announcement on other threads - I'll try to post on some of the more active threads, but need to leave soon, so am likely to miss some.

If the forum is going to be down longer than expected, I'll unlock wildlifecamwatch.com so those who wish to contact me or each other can join and post or use the pm system there. You can also email me at [email protected] or my private email which many of you know.

No eagles in sight--zoomie is looking. Is 22 gone or just out of cam view?

SWFL Eagles ~ Are You Still Out There E22? 💗 No Sightings Of E22 Or M15 Today! 6.5.23

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgC7EJn5zRc . :vid:

From Lady Hawk -- Jun 5, 2023

The nest tree was empty & quiet today missing the sound of E22's squeeing and visits that we have grown accustomed too. There were no sightings of E22 or M15 today seen from the nest cam but E22 may still be here perched across the street at Yonder pond just out of our view. Time will tell if E22 has left to begin its journey.

The cam operator zooms in on the nest showing the end of the season and also of the broken attic arch branch. Let's hope it does not break off with a bad storm this summer. Over at the pond, no E22 on the office oak but there is a squirrel hopping around on the overhang branch. There is also a horse wading in the pond. At the end of the day, we look across the street one last time and hope that wherever E22 and M15 are perched that they are safe and both have full crops tonight. Missing our Harriet even more as the season comes to a close.

For those missing E22, here is my last coverage from June 5th on E22's sunrise visit

Hello everybody! Just a quick note. I wanted you to know that some of the ground photographers posted photos today of E22 with M15 both at yonder pond and in the Eagle's Landing subdivision from today---I saw them on FB. .MaryF
