Thank you, Mary. That was very helpful. I understand it is so up in the air and my heart goes out to the Pritchetts. They must feel so overwhelmed. Knowing the October 1st date and the legal information tells me mostly what I was curious about.

Thank you MaryF and Journi for your updates on the nest tree and cameras. It would be great news if Cam1 is indeed hanging from the tree; of course I’m sure it was banging around quite a bit and might not even work. Praying for the safe return of Harriet and M and continued prayers for ALL affected by Ian.

IF the nest tree cam is indeed still attached to the nest tree, who knows what condition that cam is in.
Also another question is: Is the power line that is connected to that cam still connected to the cam and what is the condition of that
power line?

I just hope and pray that Harriet & M15 are okay and that hopefully we will be able to see them flying around their nest tree home...
some day soon.

M15 Leaves Early - Harriet's Regal Horaltic Pose 09.23.22

Harriet & M15 were perched in the nest tree when I arrived. Both dropped to the nest to rearrange some nesting material. M15 flew to a west pasture snag before flying through the tree line and out of sight. Harriet remained in the nest tree and displayed a beautiful horaltic pose (spreading wings to warm or cool oneself). No stick or soft nesting material was brought this morning. The cams will be streaming soon. Keep checking the website!

I posted this report filed by Admin - Essec09 yesterday (9/29/22) that was posted in their SWFEC Chat Box and thought I'd post it again and include this s'cap that I captured on 7/12/20 that shows where the Cam 3 (Pond Cam) was located.
The Cam 3 tree was blown down by the cat 4 IAN hurricane on 9/28/22.

.That's ok Loveinnature---I think everybody knows that ice cream lives in Florida. I'm not sure how far she is from the main part of the storm, but she did let us know that she was ok on Weds---not sure how she fared overnight but I think she is ok too.

I am currently looking around to see if there is any current news - So far I haven't seen any.

I think today is a day that everyone we know, that lives around the nest tree area, are very busy just trying to get their personal lives in order and/or are helping others out. I'm sure that if someone sees Harriet and/or M15 in the area, we sure will know about it!

Waiting to hear word about Harriet, M15, the Pritchett's and all the others is just so hard to do....
