No matter how much Dad tried he just could not get E22 out from under the nest today.

From Lady Hawk -- Apr 1, 2023 #FLORIDA #baldeagles #eagleE22 has continued to remain in the same spot beneath the nest since returning from fledging this morning. M15 has been at the nest most of the day to encourage E22 to fly off and return to the nest. M15 flies in with a partial fish and E22 is squeeing seeing Dad fly in with food. We have a zoom on E22's head from cam 1 seen between the rails squeeing. M15 waits on the nest and sees E22 flapping its wings below but does not fly off. M15 then proceeds to eat some of the fish before flying off the nest with the large piece of fish brought in earlier and takes it to the ground to coax E22 to follow him. M15 waits on the ground but E22 does not fly off the branch so M15 takes the fish back up to the nest. What an amazing and smart eagle Dad M15 is to try and encourage E22 to fly again - using everything in his arsenal to help his fledging. M15 will fly off and then head to the pond to take a much needed bath and go to the DSPS to dry his wings before coming back to the nest tree. E21 has not been seen today. Thank you for watching!

SWFL Eagles ~ Magnificent M15 Watches Over E22 On Fledge Day! E22 Roosting Underneath Nest 4.1.23
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKslx-o8dyY
From Lady Hawk -- Apr 2, 2023 #FLORIDA #baldeagles #eagle
E22 had a very stressful past 24 with two owl strikes & falls to lower branches, dive-bombed by Loggerhead Shrikes, fledging to the front pines and flying across the street, finding its way back home and perching under the nest. E22 decided to lay low and stay put on the safety of this branch today.
But M15 knew that both of his offspring have fledged and are now fully flighted juvies and so his excellent parenting skills kicked into high gear today. When E22 was hit by the owl you could hear M15 vocalizing back to E22 in the distance perhaps to give some reassurance. And in the morning, M15 brought in a large fish to celebrate E22's fledge day and encourage E22 home. When E22 returned and landed on a branch below the nest and squeed at Dad, M15 took a fish off the nest and brought it to the ground to entice E22 to fly off and claim it. SuperDad M15 will continue to take care of his E's and will be on the lookout for E21 to entice back home as well. M15 stayed for hours at the nest today - something he had not done in a long time because he sensed E22 needed him close by.
M15 will perch on the U branch late in the day and look out over the pasture seemingly in deep thought. Was he looking and waiting for E21 to come flying in squeeing? Is he still hoping to see his beloved Harriet fly in and perch next to him once again? E21 & E22 still need the care M15 can provide for them and he continues to excel in his responsibilities as an eagle Dad and in making sure that both of his and Harriet's offspring have all the tools necessary to live long and happy lives. The rule book has changed this season but M15 is writing a new chapter in it to carry on this legacy for future generations. ♥ Thank you for watching!

Thankful to see that E22 was not disturbed by that owl last night...
9:55am - E22 was moving around on that branch that she/he perched on last night and now...
was seen stretching his/her wings.
(And the photogs are back...) Pritchett/SWFEC
10:04am - E22 was seen stretching its wings and then moved to a different branch (on the other side of the tree trunk, directly below the nest...).
(In time hunger will be E22's motive to find his/her way back up to the nest.)
You CAN do it E22! Pritchett/SWFEC

I'm really concerned about E21. A eaglet that has just fledged does not fly off and not come back. I'm glad we do know where 22 is.

Good morning everyone
Here is my ground/fledge video from yesterday, 4-1-23.
Also, I spent several hours checking around the area, places I can access or use binoculars/scope on, to see if I could spot E21. I did not have any luck.

"SWFL Eagle Cam 4-1-23. E22's Fledge, Stops, & Return to the Nest Tree! Official Time 9:24:31AM."
Video from 4-1-23. E22 fledged on on 4-1-23, 9:24:31AM, at 84 days old! E22 was struck by an owl twice in the early morning hours (video here: https://youtu.be/DjhiLPwdslE), landing on a branch below the nest. After fledging in the morning, E22 landed in a front pine, flew across the road, landed on a rooftop, flew again, and landed on a power pole along the busy road. M15 was on the nest tree attic, and they could see one another. M15 had brought in a fish while I was away from the nest, and I bet E22 could see that delivery! E22 flies to a front pine in the pastutre, then to the nest tree, landing below the nest. E22 will have to fly out to get back to the nest. Time stamps below, if interested. Here is another video from yesterday. M15 is so amazing!
Link: https://youtu.be/0DZ_FCP1Jko
"SWFL Eagle Cam 4-1-23. M15 Shows E22 the , and the Way Home, 2X! M15 Takes to the Ground."
E22 fledged earlier this morning, and landed on a branch below the nest when returning. (Video here: https://youtu.be/Xgd7DaPYlUo ). M15, followed by his frequent intruder, brought in a fish while I was away from the nest, and now, Dad will do his thing. Video starts with a look at the fish, brought in whole, and M15 sampled it on the nest. M15 takes the fish in his beak, leaves the nest above E22, does a beak to feet transfer, circles the nest tree area, and flies in. Dad showed the food to E22, and demonstrated the easy route in. That didn't work the first time, so M15 tries again. This time, Dad leaves the nest with the fish in his foot, and floats down to the ground below. This was an opportunity for E22 to come to the ground to eat. E22 did not leave the nest tree. M15 takes the fish back to the nest. Time stamps below, if interested. Click on any time stamp to advance to that part.
Time stamps: Provided in DVR time; actual time is on the cam clock.
00:00. A look at the baby bait . (This is the fish M15 brought in whole.)
00:19. E22 below the nest, Dad in the nest.
00:34. M15 with the fish, on his first attempt to help E22 return to the nest.
01:58. M15 takes the fish to the ground, an opportunity for E22 to eat.
(Time of day, video has started to get wavy.)
Here are some scaps from the video:
4-1-23
M15, fish in beak, prepares to leave the nest. Dad will show E22 the food twice in this video, and how to navigate back to the nest. Dad going to the groun under the nest tree, with fish, so E22 can eat. E22 did not fly down, so Dad showed E22 the route back. E22 watches Dad on the ground with the fish.

I don't suppose you could take close-ups of all the thoughtless boobs lining the fence and post the pics somewhere embarrassing...
It looks like one might be right above your post if you watch her videos.
