No Rita or Ron this morning yet.

Last season Rita laid her first egg on Nov 24, 2021, and we have passed that day now. I am thinking Hurricane Ian might have affected the time of laying eggs this year. Harriet and M have yet to lay their eggs either and now have passed last year's first egg date of Nov 20, 2021. To me it actually makes sense. Something of such trauma must have affected the eagle in more ways than one.

Good Evening!

So, I have been really busy and just had a chance now to check in with Rita and Ron. Unfortunately, Rita is MIA since Friday and those on chat are a bit worried. Ron is at the nest tonight which I have yet to see him do since the season started

Let's pray all is well and Rita just taking a break and she will be home soon
