You are very welcome Maddy! Always great to see you here! :huggie:

Eagle Update for Friday 1/13/23:
We wanted to let everyone know that despite the unprecedented severe Winter Storms here in Northern California, including 7 consecutive Atmospheric Rivers since Christmas, our beloved Redding Eagles Liberty & Guardian are doing fine. They seem to be weathering these storms well & are exhibiting normal behavior for this time of year.
Unfortunately, as you may have noticed our Redding Eaglecam has not been able to stay powered up due to these consecutive weeks of rainfall & cloudy skies. The good news is that the Camera itself looks fine & it is still in place above Liberty & Guardian's Nest. Once we get some consecutive days of sunshine & clear skies the Solar Panels will be able to charge up the batteries & get our Eaglcam running consistently again! Next Tuesday is looking like the beginning of a break in the weather here finally! Just in time since we are getting close to egg laying time in February!
Our dedicated Ground Crew has continued keeping a close eye on our eagles whenever it is safe for us to go down to the Nest Area. We also have several FORE Members giving us reports as they drive by the area & check the Nest & look for the eagles. Thank you to everyone for helping out!
Sadly, there have been 17 deaths in California so far due to these unprecedented series of storms & our hearts go out to all of those families who have suffered tragic losses & to all those who are dealing with flooding, mudslides, toppled trees & other storm-related issues. We are still expecting 2 more Atmospheric Rivers these next 4 days so we are not out of the woods yet. We will keep you updated!
We had approx. 10.3 inches of rain in December & approx. 9.8 inches so far in the first 12 days of January! The creeks & the Sacramento River are very full & flowing very swiftly, but so far haven't crested their banks & caused any major flooding in the Redding area. The Nest area looks okay & hasn't suffered any significant flooding. Please stay safe everyone & never take any chances with swift moving water!
Thank you all for your understanding & for your concern for our Redding Eagles & all wildlife & all Californians who are being impacted by this series of devastating storms.
~Terri & the FORE Team

Hi there everyone!
We had an outage in the area where our Eaglecam is streaming from so we had to do a reboot(plug/unplug) today inside the Sheraton Hotel Restaurant Office.
Joe had to start up a new Live Stream & there is a new LINK for it so here it is! Please share it with all who love & follow our Redding Eagles!

I've been thinking about you a lot lately & so glad to find you!
We are still waiting patiently for Miss Lib to lay her 1st egg! She's on her late schedule this year I guess! She does love to keep us guessing too!
