Here's the hawk who briefly visited the tree (Houdini branches? Well I tried!) yesterday morning 09 Dec. I've tried and tried to ID it but cannot, the nearest I got was Broad-winged, which is highly unlikely from what info I can find about its territory.

Re: NE Florida 2022-2023 NestThread
This was V2's return to the nest yesterday after being absent since the morning after the owl attack. I've synced the sound - you may think I haven't because there's an open beak with no sound, but that was V2's doing, not mine - it seems that they don't always connect with their vocal chords
Also, despite scouring the tree cam till my eyes watered, I couldn't see who V2 was looking at, but I added on the skein that flew over 10 minutes after he left.

It looks like we had another visitor to the nest. This eagle arrived at 9:22 and flew at 9:42.

We apparently have a 3rd visitor now - V3. Picture above comparing V3 (top) taken today and Samson (bottom). Nare, gape, beak are not the same. Samson has a small dot in left eye at about the 5:00 position that is not seen in the top photo. Also - see tail comparisons below.
Tail comparisons:
Top Row Left to right: Samson, V1
Bottom Row Left to right: V2, V3
