A late morning treat for y'all.
The BreakFISH Tale

Dad delivered a fish.

B16 had snatched it up and moved it away but remained very puffed up.

Dad made his way to the LB and the tale began.

Yes this looks like a good spot.

Oop, nope maybe this way...

Decisions, decisions,

Nope that doesn't work...how about I try this side again.

Maybe I have to move it with my beak again

or that foot. (that would be the place B16 would dig in for a while to eat)

Dad finally came down to help with clean up of the scattered pieces. He fed some to B16 and ate a few himself.

B16 turned 61 days old today.

Early morning hours. First time I've seen B16 standing with a "tucked" head.

Good morning, B16.

B16 flap-hopped up to the rails that lay over the RB (right branch).

It was a nice relaxing morning to soak in the sights below.

But then it was time for some play.

There's a branch with a pinecone attached that B16 has been having a ball playing with.

Dad delivered some fluff, and then he gathered up all the morsels of food he could find and put them in one pile. B16 thanked him with a nibble on his wing. Dad would perch on the LB soon after.

An intruder landed in the nest tree. Dad alerted immediately.

B16 reacted when the intruder landed, and then laid back down and kept a close eye on it.

Dad would continue to alert, intermittently, at the intruder until it would fly off. B16 watched as it flew by the left of the nest. Looked like an adult.

Soon after the intruder left, Mum made a quick visit to bring in some fluff. B16 would lie down on the big pile of fluff. Dad headed out.

B16 had a nuthatch for a visitor.

Mum had brought in another load of fluff. After B16 helped her scatter it a bit, you guessed it, it became a nice bed.

Another delivery from Mum. This time it was a small branch. She dropped it right in front of her.

B16 would have a nice long rest beside the branch as Mum kept an eye out of the surrounding area. She would soon depart.
