18:33. Mama is incubating, and the arrow marks the dark spot (dot) over her left eye, an ID marker for her.

21:44. Mama is incubating. A plastic bag, uncovered yesterday, is on the nest in front of her. This is something that has been seen every season here. Mama, in particular, will bring bagged food items she finds while foraging. There is speculation on where she finds them, but it is not known. In two seasons of watching this pair, I have only once seen Papa bring in plastic. While we do not like to see this, with eagles nesting in close proximity to humans/development, this is not unexpected at this nest.
