.
At least the rain stopped and the trio is sound asleep without a Mumbrella.
. By the look of that PS #1 is eating very well! Oliver brought in something dark brown and both he and Lisa were checking it out. She was really telling him something. These two parents are so funny.

Oliver feeding 2 and 3 and Lisa reading him the riot act. Lisa finally grabbed food from Oliver and fed it to 1. They grabbed and tugged food back and forth with Lisa grumbling the entire time. Quite an amusing meal

Deb Stecyk is keeping me busy tonight. She has just posted another video from April 4th featuring our little guy #4 Thank you Deb!!!

April 4, 2022 - Jack Rabbit Meal - 4 Eaglets - Sporting Nice Crops - PA Farm Bald Eagle Nest
Deb Stecyk---
This footage captures another lovely feeding for the four beautiful eaglets at the PA Farm Country Bald Eagle Nest. Click on show more to read this description. The kids had beautiful crops after the jack rabbit meal. Observing 4 eaglets on the same nest is a very rare opportunity for the eagle community; special thanks to the Landowner, the Pennsylvania Game Commission & Partners for providing this amazing opportunity. Captured and edited by Deb Stecyk, April 4, 2022
Please note: on April 6 during the night the youngest eaglet passed away due to hypothermia. It had been raining relentlessly and the Lil One was uncovered, wet and cold, it was a sad turn of events at this nest. The eaglet was 11 days old when he passed away.
RIP Lil One you will always be remembered as a strong, sweet and feisty little guy who captured our hearts on day one; Soar High and Forever Free Lil One, you will always have a special place in our hearts.

Yesterday at sunset the colors at the nest were beautiful---- Oliver flew in and was really hungry. There was some sort of huge prey on the nest and he worked on it for a long time

Re: Pennsylvania Farm Country BE Nest - 2021-2022
Summary of 2022 Nesting Season
The season got off to an amazing start - viewers didn't realize it because the nest bowl is deep, but the adults laid four eggs - and all of them hatched! The 4th chick was seen on the morning of March 25, 3 days after the third chick hatched, and almost a week after the first chick hatched on March 18. The tiny one had to struggle to get food on this crowded nest with three larger chicks, but did fairly well until a cold rain and not enough room to keep all four warm was the final challenge that the youngest couldn't quite meet; #4 died before dawn on April 6.
There were still occasional struggles for food, but the parents did a great job, and the three remaining chicks all fledged successfully, and continued to visit the nest for a month or so afterwards.
