Enjoying relatively quiet fall weather across Southern California for the time being. High pressure over the Midwest will strengthen and expand westward through the weekend leading to warmer temperatures. The flow could also draw a minor amount of upper level moisture into the region for some afternoon clouds. At this time, thunderstorm activity will likely remain east of our area, but a few sprinkles or passing light shower cannot be ruled out over the weekend. Expect a nice finish to our week under mostly sunny skies Today with highs in the lower to mid 70's, south to southwest winds 5-10mph. A little warmer for our first fall weekend as highs reach the mid 70's, while overnight lows generally cool to the 40's. We could see occasional high cloud cover with a few afternoon build-ups as well. High pressure should peak early next week which could push temperatures up near the 80-degree mark, cooling later in the week as high pressure weakens and a trough approaches, welcome to fall!
