Building high pressure will lead to warmer weather this week and very dry conditions, be extra careful if you're out in the forest as the fire danger is high with gusty winds anticipated later in the week. Expect clear skies through Tuesday with light and variable winds as highs reach the mid 70's. Fair and warmer through the middle of the week as highs top out in the upper 70's to around 80-degrees, cooling gradually through the end of the week. Another trough of low pressure will slide inland to our north Friday into the weekend pulling temperatures back down closer to average with gusty west winds to around 25 mph at times as the onshore flow returns. We'll continue to experience the May gray across our coastal and valley areas with clear skies and seasonal weather for us into next week.
