NEST ACTIVITY - SUNDAY OCTOBER 24th

5:00pm Rain begins.

5:31pm Harriet casts a pellet.

5:45pm Harriet flies from the outer attic toward the pond.

6:58pm M15 to the attic.

6:59pm M15 up to the treetop left side.

NEST ACTIVITY - SUNDAY OCTOBER 24th

7:18pm Harriet flies to the outer attic.

7:19pm Harriet to the outer branch, feaks there.

7:45pm Darkness closes another busy day for Harriet and M15. Both added sticks to the nest and rearranged the rails. A 3 yr old sub-adult stopped by for a visit earlier. Harriet roosts on the outer branch tonight. M15 is not in cam view. Sleep well H & M.

Now I am confused.

7:40am - Harriet was working on the nest when M15 brought this stick in.
(S'cap lightened for better detail.)

7:42am - While Harriet was working on their nest...M15 was keeping watch around their nest tree territory.
(And no...Harriet wasn't pulling at the Cam strap - she was placing a small stick next to the tree trunk.)

10:19am - 10:20 am
No birdy was home. One adult fly's into nest.

Zoomie!
No both adults are in nest.

I'm can't for the life of me figure out who is who ?? Then I see the large feet (sorry mom) and Harriet's . So if I'm right? Harriet's on the right. She has a black dot on top of her head. Both are aerating in the nest. M has some beak feather bling. Good morning you two Looks like it's Sunday comic time

Harriet decides to dismantle the south rail. She doesn't like it that way. Oh no. Looks like the whole thing will avalanche. She wants the bottom stick Duck and spin!

M ducks! Harriet's spins. She wants the long stick over here. And she doesn't need help.

M goes to attic, being as Harriet needs no help.

Harriet continues to work on the rail.

Sunday morning early 3:11 am
*Sorry Journi if this is out of place. Was too cute not to post.
Again, apologies folks. I could not figure out who was who? After Harriet had finished her bedtime squirrel snack, and went out by M. One adult went to attic.(after 8:40 ish) Attic eagle head tucked, hanging four. Other adult is also hanging four, dozing on inner limb. Both got much needed rest. They shook off a lot of bugs all night long. No drama. All and all, it was a peaceful night.

Have to go, long busy day of packing. Enjoy your day everyone! Later peeps!

10:34. Harriet flew from the outer attic to a snag in the SE corner of the front pasture to grab a HUGE branch off the top of this snag.

This pic is from the 360Cam. Red arrow marks the end of the branch, showing how huge it is. CamOps was trying to follow Harriet on Cam1, but she flies much faster than the cam moves (plus she hooked, when typically we see her fly S or over to the summer tree area). A very loud thump was heard, and CamOps moved the view down to the nest (next pic).

Perhaps H&M can plant it in the middle of the nest when the E’s get close to branching age. They will be able to practice, and have a nice landing cushion on the nest.

Lovinnature - You are correct: M15 is at the left of Harriet.
The one thing I always look for is M15's white feathers at the top of his wings (circled). Both of his wings have these white feathers.
Plus I look at the size difference - M15 is smaller than Harriet. (And it really does look like Harriet's feet are larger than M15's.)
(I took this s'cap from the s'cap that you posted... I then circled the white area at the top of M15's wing.)

Good afternoon everyone! Love, love the little tree in the nest!
We have Sunday afternoon company visiting the nest tree!
Our first visitor of Season 10.

1245 Harriet with vocal alarms as a subadult flew around the tree
and landed on the upper branches on the right.

1246 Harriet talking to the subadult. " You must know, you are not allowed to be here."

1312 Harriet and the subadult still perched in same places.

Harriet is not happy about the beautiful sub-adult that is soaring around the tree and then lands
on an upper branch. Wonder if it's one of Harriet and M15's eaglets?

1313 Here comes M15 flying in from the southwest to the rescue!

1313 M15 (green dot) flushes the subadult( blue dot) and off the subadult goes.
" Thanks for letting me rest in your tree."
