Thanks for posting this scap, Journi. And thanks to Zoomie also for giving us this Pond Cam view.

I've always enjoyed seeing this cove and portion of the pond. Fun to watch the eaglets sitting on the fence and the pylons, not to mention rumbling on the grassy verge. E15's last sight of E16 was from the pylon nearest the fence. That was the morning after E16 purloined and flew away with the fish, leaving 15 to pout alone on the porch the rest of the night. A halcyon occasion.

I See The E’s Over The Rails & Harriet Chases After A Sub Adult 01.18.22

It was a cool moonlit morning watching M15 fly southeast to hunt as Harriet remained with the E's watching over the territory. Harriet took off after a sub adult flying too close and showed the young one both talons outstretched as she chased it from the area. She made a 2nd quick flight for good measure a few minutes later. Then I got to see E19 standing tall over the rails, flapping their wings and watching Harriet as she perched above the E's. E19 and E20 are 3 weeks old.

It sure was, Journi. And E15, totally devastated, stuck around for another 64 days in case E16 was laying low, preparing to sneak back into the area.

5:38pm M15 brought a partial fish (red dot) to the nest and did not feed the EE's...
Instead, he started moving some sticks around and E20 now has a small stick across its back/head.

5:40pm - After moving some sticks around (which removed that stick that was on E20's back)...
M15 flew up to be with Harriet on the Attic Branch.
Harriet vocalized as they looked down to check on E19 and E20.

5:42pm - With that stick off from its back, E20 (I BELIEVE) did a little wingersizing session in the glow
of the setting sun!

5:40pm - Harriet dropped down to the nest and started to feed E20.

5:42pm - E19 got up from its little nap, went over and bonked E20...E20 submits.
E19 began to eat.

5:44pm - E19's crop is full, so E20 starts to eat.
(After this feeding, Harriet ate the fish tail, cleaned around the nest and then flew up to the Attic Branch.)

6:03pm - M15 is busy working on the nest, the EE's have full crops, and Harriet cleans up after the dinner fish meal.

6:13pm - M15 flew up to the Attic Branch and Harriet flew up to the Outer Attic Branch.

6:23pm - Meanwhile....with full crop and a long day of learning new lessons...E19 & E20

Sleep Safe and Well Harriet, M15, E19 & E20!

6:26pm - Harriet dropped down to the nest from the Outer Attic,
she then cleaned and aerated the nest some more and then went over to be close to E20 and E19.
(We can see E19 to the right of Harriet - with a full crop.)

6:53pm - And with E19 & E20 sleeping close to Harriet... Harriet tucked her head and

7:00pm - M15 rests while perched tonight on the Attic Branch.
(No full moon behind the nest...I just decided to put one there!)

Good Morning!

6:30am Harriet is awake, preening and vocal on and off. M15 remains on the attic, quiet. Es stir some next to Harriet.

6:42am Harriet to the side of the nest, vocal, M15 answers. Harriet flies off to the pasture snag. Es track her movements. More vocals from M15.

6:44am M15 hops up to the outer attic.

6:52am M15 flies West.

7:00am E20 up, rouses and stretches, flaps wings and gets a bonk from E19 who flaps too.

NEST ACTIVITY - WEDNESDAY JANUARY 19th

7:03am Harriet flies off the pasture snag, appeared to go East.

7:24am Harriet to the attic.

8:15am Harriet to the upper branch.

8:27am E19 PS.

9:12am M15 to nest with a fish, begins feeding E19.

M15 feeding E19, E20 is avoiding conflict.

9:25am E20 gets closer and receives food; E19 warns; E20 moves away, but continues to try and is rewarded.

9:35am Feeding over, M15 to the attic, then to the outer attic. Both eaglets were fed.
