Grosbeak! No fare. I was trying to deal with the zugunruhe. Didn't know it was only a test :D
loyinnature, on cam 3 at 11:19:06 you can see E20 (a tiny spec) dropping from high up to the nest -- almost like he was in free-fall before pulling the rudder back for a quick landing. On the nest cam you tell it was a fairly hard landing. Perhaps he should practice a few touch & gos. :)

Good morning peeps!
Day 1, empty nest.

Empty nest therapy. :rh:
E19 says, "Hello everybody! I'm doing supercalifragilsticexpialidocious ! Having the time of my great eagle life!" (credit for this scrap goes to Journi. Got it from the forum. If wasn't Journi's, I humbly apologize to whom ever it was. Please correct me! )
:eag: Lovinnature - Yes, I took that s'cap, but I posted a similar one just like it instead.
It was BluSkye who posted that s'cap. You can see her and my other s'cap on Page 146.

 A quick FYI for those who have never jumped to a particular page:

Click on the arrow (red dot) next to the page numbers.
A little box pops up. Enter 146 in the box. And then press Go (green dot).
You are now on page 146!
On Page 146 you can see E19 sitting next to unhatched E20...and then further on down the page you can see when E20 hatched!

I'm 99.44% sure it's E20. If you watch the few minutes he was on the attic, you'll catch a glimpse of the breast necklace. As I recall, E19 only had a breast badge; no necklace.

5-14-22

:eag: :vid: Here is my video coverage for 5-14-22, when E20 showed up after staying out too late last night, down at the river with friends! 😉

"SWFL Eagle Cam 5-14-22. E20: It's Good To Be Home, with my pond, leaning palm, & Tiki Hut! 🏝🦅🥰"

Welcome home to E20, who likely never left! E20 drops into view from above on the pond cam and Cam2, gliding in from soaring. E20 vocalizes quite a bit, checks out the nest for leftovers, then back to the attic for a preening session. E20 heads to the pond for cove perching, sips, and more shade perching at the Tiki Hut on the leaning palm. How long will E20 stay? Time will tell; yesterday was not leaving day apparently. Cam1/Cam2/Cam3/360. Time stamps provided.

:eag: Here are a few scaps from the video.

Hello everyone. I visited the nest this morning before E20's return.

Time Alone For H & M Short-Lived Never Say Never-E20 Returns After I Leave 05.14.22

Harriet & M15 perched overnight in the nest tree and were still there when I arrived this am at 6:00. They were quiet and watchful with no juvies in sight to care for. Both dropped to the nest separately moving nest material around and cleaning up nestovers. M15 flew SW early and Harriet flew to the office oak after getting a drink from the pond. There was no sign of E20 when I left mid morning but E20 is back now! E20 arrived to the nest tree this morning at 11:19am. E20 is 137 days old today.

E20 returned this morning and after landing in the nest tree and staying awhile, he flew off to the pond and
it was time for a nice, long bath! Welcome home until you decide to leave us again, E20.

Another super video, Androcat. :thumlft:

I was watching the Pond Cam when E20 entered via the top edge of the screen. At that altitude, he obviously didn't take off from the West Pasture.

Thanks, Gracie. :) E20 was so thrilled to be back in the pond it appeared his ballast shifted a couple of times. :woohoo:
