Here is a video of M15’s first turn at incubation during the overnight. It was short but sweet.
Link: https://youtu.be/zXA_yAVU1ug
“ SWFL Eagle Cam 11-28-21. M15 cajoles Harriet to let him incubate at night; she has to pry him off.”
M15 starts with the vocals from the outer branch, and Harriet responds. M15 will join Harriet in the nest and he clearly wants time on their eggs. Harriet rises and M15 immediately looks at their eggs, then starts moving into position before Harriet is fully up and off. M15 will roll and incubate their eggs, and Harriet moves to the veranda branch. Harriet returns after preening and rousing; however, M15 isn’t ready to give up his position just yet. Harriet is firm and lets M15 know his time is up. He returns to the outer branch, Harriet resumes incubation, and the rest of the night appeared quiet. This is the first time I have seen M15 incubate during the overnight. Cam1/Cam2/360.

Egg#2 - (Whiter than Egg#1 and still see some reddish markings on it.)
Egg#1 - (This eggs is not as white, plus now I see these black marks/lines on it.) Pritchett-SWFEC

3:18pm - M15 got up from incubating... left the nest and flew to the Pasture...
3:18pm - M15 (red dot) flew to where the carrion was and a vulture (green dot) who was eating on it flew away...
M15 then began eating the carrion carcass. Pritchett-SWFEC

Re: SW Florida Eagle Cam 2021~2022
Hi Journi. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving and got some well deserved rest. Comparing your second s'cap above with BluSkye's "button hook" s'cap of Egg #1 captured at 09:01:18 on 11/21/21, I see that while both s'caps show an egg with a reddish V, the V's are not the same shape.
Therefore, unless Egg #1 got a new paint job, I'd say you're right one is the left one --- i.e., you're right that the left one is #2.
Grosbeak - the scap that you see from the 2:25pm post shows the egg (at the left in the first s'cap) with the reddish V .
In the bottom s'cap, the Egg with the V is just a closeup of the same egg that you see in the first s'cap. (Therefore... V's are the same since it's a closeup of the same egg.)
Hope this makes sense. (It's been a long day! ) Have a good night! ~Journi
