E19 still has some of that moss across the back of its neck.
Good mornin', Journi. I believe it's E20 that's wearing the wreath??
That's better than an i.d. bracelet as long as it poses no hazard to the wee tyke.
Grosbeak - Good morning!
In the time frame that you speak about...I was really trying to figure out who was the one that had the moss "wreath" over their neck since the cam was pulled way far away from the EES during that time. And in my posted s'cap (previously posted above)... I believed it was E19 after studying their beaks.
After reading your quoted post to me, I went back and took a look at this other s'cap - posted below (that I did not post).
Now, after enlarging this s'cap and studying this s'cap, I see that the beak of the one wearing the moss-"wreath" has a thinner beak... E20 has a thinner beak whereas E19 has a much thicker beak...IMHO, of course.)
So, everyone, from now on...I will clearly state "I believe" and then state what I believe since some times it's difficult to be perfectly correct.
Grosbeak...Hope you're having great day!
I'm getting ready for a snow and ice storm heading towards my neck of the woods! ~Journi

Aww, E19 say "I will help you get your lei off". And proceeds to help pull of grasses. And few blades at a time
12:24 pm
And at 12:25:06
E19 got bonked!! (sort of) as thanks. A "token bonk".
Hope y'all stay safe (and warm) from the winter blasts. Suppose to come within 15 miles west of us before veering off to the south. Too close for comfort!

Hi Journi,
that's why I don't commit to 19 or 20. I just use E. It is so hard to tell whose who?? I only figured it out when saw Essec's post in chat. I just posted it here and didn't read your before post. Sorry. I have been looking at their cere and feather line, that Sue said, but its getting more bushy now.
UGH, little EEs! Your no help at all! You keep changing by the minute!
Be safe, stay warm!

Lovinnature - I HAD the beak difference down for awhile, but, as we all know, the EE's are growing and changing each day and EVERYTHING that some of us have come to recognize is slowly changing!
Now, I (we) have to look for more ways to tell the EE's apart as they grow and change each day!
So, I will continue to try to ID the EE's correctly...
and if I'm incorrect, well...I'm incorrect! (Which is okay because at least I (we) tried...and that is what really matters! IMHO.
We all learn by doing...and from each other. )

Thank you very much Journi, Lovinnature, for your open discussions on which E is which
I was beginning to think I needed my eyes checked!
Maybe when their feathers develop more we can spot the differences.
Perhaps their tails will tell the tale.
Still looking for E9 October 12, 2019

Hello, Journi & Lovinnature. Sorry if I've added to any sort of confusion. Fact is, I didn't know which E was which; hence the double ?? after saying it was E20 with the "wreath."
As I've written before, I don't generally try very hard to identify the eaglets. I can distinguish between "bonker" and "bonkee" and don't advance much beyond that until they are fledglings. Then I have a better idea, especially when there are clear-cut behavioral traits, e.g. in the case of the "pond princess".
Enjoy the ride!! -- dress warm.

Hello Sunnybird, thanks so much for the belly laugh! It's not just you. I try not to call it.
*Grosbeak no confusion.

6:10pm - E20 got bonked, s/he went into submission - E19 got fed nest over fish from Harriet.
(AND...how I KNOW this?... It was stated on the Pritchett banner!)
6:12pm - Meanwhile...M15 is checking out the feeding from the Attic Branch.
Shortly after I captured this s'cap, M15 dropped down to the nest and wanted to help out with the feeding.
(E20 remains in submission.)
