Re: SW Florida Eagle Cam 2021~2022
Good morning peeps!
Happy Sunday ? It is the last official day of season 10. I'm trying to be happy.... my heart is heavy.
These s'caps from eagle check-in last night, and overnight. I apologize, for the clarity in s'caps, but my cameras were very blurry all day yesterday. Even in HD 1080 mode?
M (left) is in the front snag. Harriet basement of nest tree.
8:15 pm M will go the the basement to perch with his honey Harriet.
8:35 pm We made it past the usual hours of traveling musical branches and trees, (11:30 pm and 1:30 am). M (right) remains perched next to Harriet.
2:37 am ** Correction ! Last day for season 10 CHAT. Season will officially end when there is confirmation from the folks in charge. Sorry for misunderstanding.

Sunday early am
These last s'caps are as I watched H & M all night. Forgive me Mary, but the moon got in the way
Just above the tree tops, the Last Quarter Moon, is on the rise.
2:39 am She (the moon) slowly floats her way up the quiet, starless, night sky.
3:07 am The moon stops a moment, to peak over the nest rails, into the now empty nest, which holds so many special memories.
3:22 am Harriet and M remain perched in the basement.

So if not E20 or E19, then who?
Reminds me of the question posed by Lady Hawk 2 or 3 years ago. https://youtu.be/7MmU4ppIxfI
Hope you have a wonderful summer followed by another pair of fascinating bobbleheads.

Sunday early am
Harriet and M still perched in basement. Love the moon as it shines through the nest tree.
3:48 am The moon doing it's thing. Almost out of view.
4:19 am Looks like Harriet and M will stay in the basement tonight. So I will bid, one last adieu, to you, the moon! Thank you for making Season 10, more memorable, with all your spectacular sights and movements. I know you and Venus will stick close together as you move around to the West skies for summer.
4:38 am The end...
**Many blessings and HUGE Thank you, to the Pritchett family!! Without you and your tireless work, we would not have this amazing opportunity to watch these beautiful majestic eagles, who chose to make they're home in your lovely inviting pasture!! Thank you for protecting them, and Andy for personally welcoming some of the new fledgeling EEs, with his truck(s) along the drive.
Even though it's noon on Sunday right now, this is where I normally would say peeps! So I'm sticking with that!

Getting the sham-Wows ready for 3:00. Thank you, Journi, for all your good work here and thank you to JudyB, MaryF, and all others who post, administer and help to keep the forum up for all of us. And of course, thanks to the Pritchetts for making it all possible and to the whole SWFEC team. Happy summer all! Oh, and thanks H &M for being you.
Best wishes,

Re: SW Florida Eagle Cam 2021~2022
Hello peeps!
All us quiet on the eagle front. No eagles in view The usual suspects are at the pond. Ducks swimming, a long neck bird on the rocks, and Appy enjoying the afternoon.
Calling Harriet and M! Please come to say hello, while chat is open for one last time this season, and we can say goodbye for now!

5-22-22
Here is my video coverage for 5-21-22.
Link: https://youtu.be/zOiq1RJ8Wbo
"SWFL Eagle Cam 5-21-22. H&M together at sunrise & sunset . Great hawk view @ pond; duck skirmish."
CamOps once again treated us to wonderful views of the various birds around the pasture pond while Harriet and M15 were out of cam view. We got a great look at a Red-shouldered Hawk, plus views of an Anhinga and a Great Blue Heron. Three Wood Ducks had a skirmish after a hot landing in the water flipped two of them. Happy Appy takes their daily dip. Harriet and M15 were both in view at/in/leaving the pond. M15 perched on the leaning palm, and Harriet was pestered by small birds in the nest tree. H&M were together at sunrise and sunset, once again . Time stamps below, if interested.
Here are a few scaps from the video.
5-21-21 all three scaps.
0722. Red-shouldered hawk on a pylon. 1649. M15 on the leaning palm. 1929. Harriet being pestered by small birds.

.Hi folks! I just want to thank all of you who joined us for our final chat today. I saw several of you. You know who I mean SueMac LOL!! You might have seen that Ginnie Pritchett did not give an exact date for the cams being shut off but I'm sure it will be soon. AND they will be working on the IR for us. I'm not sure yet what I will be doing with this thread. I need to check with JudyB. I would love for you to keep in touch in the Bobble-N-Chat thread if I should decide to lock this one. Thank you all for the wonderful observations, scaps and videos. They are appreciated more than I can say. Most of all---THANK YOU JOURNI!!
