LisaS_AEF — 21:38 Good Evening, Rocket is home this evening. He is currently on both cams, but he is showing off his large crop on Cam 2.
gretchen_AEF — 22:35 THURSDDY TUCK-IN: It was wild at the nest just prior to chat tonight with a persistent juvenile . Check out the video posted above by flyeagle78_AEF. Arriving at the nest for tuck, Jasper quickly flew across the street to the ET. Then he flew to the LY and was tucked there with mom. Dad was perched off-site in a different location when we left, but likely ended up in the LY as well. As usual Rocket seems to prefer roosting at home, or maybe he thinks it's his duty to protect their nest. They both ate well today, and Rocket has the crop to prove it. Have a peacefull night, Hamlet family and to one and all! 😊

Rocket on the Sunset branch and Jasper on LOP when we arrived tonight.

jd_AEF — 23:47 Pre-midnight check-in: Rocket is still perched and contented on the Sunset Branch with his full crop. No sign of anyone else returning...SEDs to Sam and Gabby and Rocket and Jasper too! We hope for some rain tomorrow to clean those cams so we can more easily keep an eye on all of you.

Hello IrishEyes, Philjo and everyone,

jd_AEF#3811 Today at 4:22 PM
Morning update: Samson arrived with a fish @ 7:56 am...Rocket was quickly there and mantled it. He apparently ate it all...Jasper joined Samson who was perched at LOP. She let him know that he needed to catch another fish for her. He flew off again @ 9:16 am. Jasper flew off and Rocket followed right behind her. Jasper returned @ 10:22 am...in the nest and then up to Lookout Point. She was perched there watching for the next food delivery and observing everything in the Hamlet.

jd_AEF#3811 Today at 5:07 PM
Samson arrived at 11:05 with another fish for Jasper (tentatively id'd as a Spanish Mackerel). Sam checked for anyone following him and flew off again. Jasper finished the fish...looked like she ate every bite...and then she flew back up to LOP.

jd_AEF#3811 Today at 5:58 PM
kclark1_AEF will be keeping an eye on Jasper and waiting for Rocket's next arrival...enjoy the rest of your Friday!

Good afternoon everyone! Jasper is still perched on the LOP. At 1:15 pm Jasper moves into the nest and lays down briefly before moving up to Sunset at 1:16 pm. No new updates at 1:49 pm, Jasper is still hanging out on the Sunset Branch. Jasper moved into the nest at 2:01 pm and immediately went to LOP. Gabby arrives with what looks like another Mackerel and Jasper immediately mantles. Gabby moves to Wallenda and takes off at 2:36 pm while Jasper starts to eat the fish. Jasper finishes eating the fish, not the whole fish, left some for Rocket, lol, then moved to the Cam Branch at 2:48 pm, then to Wallenda Branch at 2:50

Good afternoon everyone! Jasper finished eating and joined Samson on the Sunset branch at 4:00. Jasper has moved to the Wallenda branches and Samson is in the nest eating. Jasper says dad you have eaten enough! Jasper is saving the fish for Rocket. Samson is on LOP. Jasper is back in the nest at 6:00. It looks like it rained a little. Not enough to clean cam 1 yet. Jasper waited long enough for Rocket so she is finishing up the fish. She goes up to the Sunset branch. Samson hopped to the nest to look for leftovers and she wasn't having it. Samson flew to the Wallenda branches and off he went. All is quiet.
