jd_AEF — 23:42 Pre-midnight check-in: Samson and Gabby are both where they were at tuck...Samson is tucked and sleeping and Gabby is doing a bit of preening and snoozing. All is quiet.

jd_AEF — 00:24 At 12:18 am Another eagle appeared at the nest and Samson took off to escort the eagle away. He arrives back at 12:32 am with vocals and rejoins Gabby on Wallenda. After much discussion Samson flew off again at 12:49 am...he's probably at the Lumberyard or another nearby tree checking things out.
