3:01 pm: Found V2 on the branch & Starr in the nest.
2021-01-24 (57).png
They were having a peaceful time keeping an eye on their area.

3:13 am: Valor 1 flies in with nesting material.
2021-01-24 (45).png
Of course Starr wants to give V1 one of her famous kisses before she takes his nesting materials & spreads it around.
2021-01-24 (53).png
Starr & V1 work on the nest together.

3:17 pm: Starr hops up onto the backporch branch & V2 jumps onto the nest a few seconds later. Both Valors work on the nest.

It's a great event to get outside and enjoy nature. I find it very exciting no matter how many times I see bald eagles.

Tried to get a half way decent picture of the Trio together.
2021-01-24 (65).png
3:21 pm: V1 leaves.
2021-01-24 (72).png
3:23 pm: V1 arrives with another stick.
2021-01-24 (78).png
He is very particular about its placement, trying it in a few places, then rearranging it a few times.

5:26 pm: Valor 2 arrives at the nest.
2021-01-24 (118).png
5:28 pm: Valor 1 arrives. They both start working on the nest.
2021-01-24 (119).png
V2 was even trying to peck V1, causing V1 to stretch upwards & out of the way.

5:29 pm: Starr arrives, landing on the long branch.
2021-01-24 (120).png
All 3 do end up on the nest about a minute later.
The nest gets a little too crowded, so one of them (I think V1) moves to the upper right branch to watch the action on the nest below.

7:34 pm thanks so much, Joan, for filling in the blanks from today. Boy, they are busy getting the nest ready. Looks like two are still in the nest. One is behind a branch at times. Interesting how the IR reflects off the white heads. Stay safe tonight, Starr, Valor 1 and Valor 2.

5:32 pm: Starr goes to the back porch branch.
2021-01-24 (124).png
5:37 pm: V1 goes to the long branch.
2021-01-24 (126).png
5:38 pm: It is really hard to tell in this picture, but V2 jumped up next to Starr, so it looked like he disappeared. Then V1 jumps down on the nest from the long branch.
2021-01-24 (133).png
Here you can see all 3 of them.

5:39 am: Some moves occurred...from left to right--Valor 1, Valor 2, then Starr. Valor 1 flew off right after I captured this picture. V2 & Starr seem to be spending the night. Love that glowing head look! :D

Good morning, Philippe, Joan and all Trio lovers. That we know of and since observing, Starr and Valor 2 spent the night in the nest tree for the first time. Happy to see that we can see somewhat, especially when the IR light reflects off their heads. Later today, snow will return.

6:11 am our eagles are still in the nest. They looked to be preening some and dozing.

I saw the eyes blinking at 06h16 so now it is the eyes reflection of the right eagle we can see now

6:41 am one of the eagles moved from the outer branch and lying down in the nest. Interesting watching them in the dark. :)

7:03 am the Trio are busy this morning. All three are in the nest tree with one out on the long branch, vocalizing after they got there. The other two are busy working around the nest.

7:14 am The eagles got busy with nest work and even wiggling down in the nest bowl, checking it out. I think Valor 1 flew and brought back some more nesting materials. Now two are perched on the long branch and one in the nest, observing. I think Starr and Valor 1 are perched on the long branch and Valor 2 in the nest.
