Bensweather.com Forecast Updated:
Another pretty quiet day out there Wednesday with just a few sprinkles around the area, thunderstorms remain confined to our east out over the high desert. That should change through Thursday as a stronger east flow pushes additional monsoon moisture into the area. Thunderstorms are marching westward out of Arizona tonight and likely won't survive the trip to us. However, a few showers or an isolated thunderstorm is possible overnight with lows in the 50's. Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies on Thursday with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible, mainly during the afternoon. Some storms will contain locally heavy rain, gusty winds, frequent lightning, and small hail; seek shelter indoors if a thunderstorm approaches your area. Daytime highs will remain near 80-degrees while overnight lows generally cool to the 50's. Moisture will decrease a tad Friday and Saturday for isolated afternoon thunderstorms, increasing again Sunday and Monday with another surge of moisture. The monsoon flow may shift further to our east towards the middle of next week giving us a little break from the humidity along with slightly cooler temps.

Bensweather.com Forecast Updated:
At the mid & upper levels, a moist southeast flow continues to draw monsoon moisture into the region with scattered afternoon thundershowers in the forecast through the weekend. With the afternoon sea breeze, southwesterly winds may push storms northeastward towards the high desert. Expect partly cloudy skies overnight with mild temps as lows cool to the 50's. Partly cloudy skies on Friday with isolated thunderstorms possible during the afternoon, highs in the lower 80's. Little change through the Saturday, with an increased risk for showers and thunderstorms Sunday and Monday as a better surge in moisture arrives. Things could get interesting as early as Saturday night as an upper-level low retrogrades westward through the area, interacting with monsoon moisture through Monday. Cooler early next week as highs drop into the 70's, while overnight lows remain in the 40's to the 50's. Fair and a little warmer by the middle of next week as the monsoon flow temporarily shifts east of our area, giving us a little break from the humidity.

Bensweather.com Forecast Updated:
A moist southeast flow continues to draw monsoon moisture into the Southern California with scattered afternoon thundershowers in the forecast for part of the weekend, with just a very slight chance Saturday to a better chance on Sunday. Clear skies through this evening with light winds as lows cool to the upper 40's and 50's. Partly cloudy skies Saturday with just some afternoon clouds, thunderstorms look unlikely with a high near 80°, southwest winds 5-15mph during the afternoon. Moisture and instability will increase Sunday bringing a good chance for showers and thunderstorms late Sunday into Monday. Low pressure moving westward could add to the instability with even a few nocturnal thunderstorms possible Sunday night all the way to the coast. Cooler early next week as highs drop into the 70's, while overnight lows remain in the 40's to the 50's. Fair and a little warmer by the middle of next week as the monsoon flow shifts east of our area, giving us a temporary break from the humidity, which could return by week's end.
