Bensweather.com Forecast Updated: Wednesday, Jul 07 @ 08:09am
High pressure in place across the desert southwest will bring more hot summer weather to the area through the weekend with a slight chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm. A weak southerly flow will draw some upper-level moisture into the region today, mainly above 500mb with no thunderstorms forecast. Just a few afternoon clouds with highs in the mid to upper 80's, southeast winds 5-15mph during the morning turning southwesterly during the afternoon. A little better surge of moisture could spark an afternoon shower or thunderstorm Thursday and Friday, nothing widespread is expected. Very warm as reach the upper 80's, with the humidity we could see heat indices into the 90's, while overnight lows generally cool to the 50's. As this ridge moves over us this weekend, daytime highs will top out near the 90-degree mark. In addition to the heat, we'll have some humidity to contend with as well, driving heat indices into the 90's, stay cool out there! Temperatures should gradually cool next week giving us some relief from the heat as our forecast remains dry.

Fawnskin Forecast:
🌄Today: Sunny to partly cloudy. High 83F. Winds WSW at 5-10 mph.
Tonight: Mainly clear skies. Low 54F. Winds NNE at 5-10 mph.
Bensweather.com Forecast Updated:
The hot weather continues out there with above-normal temperatures expected through the weekend with record heat possible. An influx of monsoon moisture could also spark an afternoon shower or rumble of thunder over the next day or two. Clear skies overnight with calm winds as lows drop into the lower 50's. Expect another warm day Thursday with highs in the upper 80's, southeast winds 5-15mph at times. There is a slight chance for an isolated afternoon thundershower otherwise partly cloudy. We'll continue to see some afternoon clouds Friday through the weekend as we turn the heat up even more with temperatures topping out around 90-degrees, while overnight lows remain in the 50's. High pressure will weaken next week allowing for some cooling as temperatures return to normal with dry weather for now.

Fawnskin Forecast:
🌄Today: A mix of clouds and sun. High 83F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight: A clear sky. Low 56F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.

Bensweather.com Forecast Updated: Friday, Jul 09 @ 11:06am
Strong high pressure is bringing hot and humid weather to the area with enough mid and upper-level moisture to spark an afternoon shower or isolated thunderstorm. Looking at minor surge in monsoon moisture today bringing us partly to mostly cloudy skies today with a few showers or thunderstorms possible. Warm with highs in the mid-80's, winds generally light & variable, except gusty around any storms. A Heat Advisory is in effect through Monday where temperatures could top out around 90-degrees over the weekend. We'll see a few afternoon clouds, but no convection is forecast through Monday. As high pressure weakens and shifts eastward the axis could draw monsoon moisture back into the region by the middle of next week with gradually cooling temperatures.

Fawnskin Forecast:
🌄Today: Sun and clouds mixed. Near record high temps. High 87F. Winds WNW at 5-10 mph.
Tonight: A clear sky. Low 56F. Winds WNW at 5-10 mph.
Bensweather.com Forecast Updated:
Looking at very hot and humid conditions through the weekend with near-record heat expected, even a few afternoon thundershowers are possible as a weak southeast flow draws monsoon moisture into the area. Clear skies overnight as lows cool to the 50's. Expect a hot start to the weekend with highs in the upper 80's Saturday, a few showers or isolated thunderstorms are possible during the afternoon, little change on Sunday. High pressure will start to weaken next week leading to a gradual cool-down and temporary cutoff of the monsoon moisture, which could return later in the week.
