Bensweather.com Forecast Updated: Friday, May 14 @ 12:05am
Looking at gorgeous weather out there with above normal temperatures and dry conditions for the next couple of days. A late season low-pressure system will move through the area this weekend bringing gusty winds and cooler temperatures with a small chance of showers Sunday, mainly marine layer driven across our coastal & valley areas. We'll enjoy another very nice day today under mostly sunny skies with highs in the lower 70's, southwest winds gusting to around 15mph during the afternoon. The onshore flow will increase over the weekend, generating gusty west winds to around 30mph at times. As a weak low moves through, the marine layer could deepen enough to squeeze out some light rain and drizzle on Sunday morning, mainly on the lower coastal slopes. Highs will cool to the 60's Saturday before dropping into the 50's on Sunday, while overnight lows fall into the upper 20's and 30's. High pressure will rebuild next week leading to a gradual warm-up as our forecast remains dry.
