Bensweather.com Forecast Updated:
Looking at very quiet weather across southern California with an increasing onshore flow and slightly cooler temps expected through the weekend, followed by our first offshore flow of the season next week. In the meantime, a trough of low pressure will swing inland to our north this weekend leading to cooler weather and a nice taste little taste of fall, which arrives on Wednesday. Daytime highs will top out in the lower 70's while overnight lows dip into the 30's and 40's, locally breezy during the afternoons with southwest winds to around 20mph at times. We'll keep temps near normal into next week with fairly light offshore winds. We are expecting the season's first weak Santa Ana event Monday-Tuesday, but not anticipating any strong winds. Later in the week, an upper level low off the west coast could draw some tropical moisture into the region, which might even spawn a few afternoon showers towards the weekend, will work out the details over the next few days.
