Good Morning!

Hillsborough, NJ Weather

Day: Partly cloudy with showers. Highs around 51°F. South southwest wind 4 to 15 MPH, gusting to 26 MPH. Chance of precipitation 90 percent. New precipitation amounts up to one quarter inch possible.

Night: Mostly clear. Lows around 34°F. Wind chill values as low as 28°F. West northwest wind 4 to 12 MPH, gusting to 20 MPH.

* 4.16.40Am Dad is awake and staring into the dark
* 4.18.09Am he drops to the nest and starts aerating but stops to stare to the right of the nest at something
* Mom flies in at 4.19.01Am. I don't think Mom was too far away from the nest
* Morning greetings and then Dad moves back to the branching branch but now Mom is staring to the right of the nest. There is obviously something there. Maybe our young Juvy from the other day?
* Dad on the branching branch and Mom laying in the nest at 4.21.30Am

Mom arrives from just up above

* Mom has been switching positions in the nest laying down but both still keep watching to the right of the nest. They don't appear to be threatened but are on alert watching
* Mom up and starts working on the nest as Dad stretches and then joins her at 5.32.57Am
* Few sweet beakies between them. I do think Dad wants to lie down in the nest but Mom said no
* Nest work continues with the stick being moved and aerating the nest
* Dad back to the branching branch at 5.38.49Am and Mom settles down in the nest again

* 5.52.46Am Mom up again and back to nest work as Dad stands guard
* 6.19.49Am Mom moves in front of the Y trunk of the tree and watches to the right of the nest. Dad is still on the branching branch. It is raining a bit
* Dad flies off at 6.46.21Am to the left of the nest. I didn't see him fly by the nest in the back so I think he is not too far away
* Mom has been sitting in front of that Y trunk all this time watching to the right. She finally moves to the branching branch at 6.58.10Am and flies off in the same direction as Dad earlier at 6.58.27Am

* Dad arrives at the nest at 3.19.04Pm and I am pretty sure he had something in one of his talons stick/nesting
* Whichever one it was it seems he only dropped by to drop it off and flies out again at 3.21.09Pm

* Mom was the first to arrive for the evening meeting at the nest at 4.30.08Pm
* She starts with some nestwork but she is waiting for that man of hers you can just tell
* 4.48.41Pm Mom is on the branching branch and she is tracking something
* 4.49.05Pm and Dad arrives on the nest and Mom is quick to join him
* Dad does some stick movement while Mom watches as she lays in the nest. Their both still very alert about their surroundings tonight
* Dad moves to the branching branch at 4.52.47Pm and Mom gets up and starts digging not aerating the nest. She is on a mission tonight with the bottom of the nest. Checking it out by laying down each time
* Dad joins her on the nest one more time 5.00.54Pm before he flies away at 5.03.05Pm
* Mom flies out at 5.04.21Pm in the same direction as Dad
* 5.4.37Pm you can see one of them fly by the nest and then around it and out it goes somewhere passed the trees.

6.30Am-8.02Am

* 6.31.10 Mom is the first to arrive with a stick
* She is on her own doing nest work coming and going bring in more sticks to the nest until 7.01.35Am when Dad arrives with some nesting.
* This starts the hour-long nest work mission the two have this morning both leaving and arriving back at the nest with sticks or nesting
* Mom really is outdoing herself with some huge sticks, especially one of them that Dad tried to move and gave up on.
* Dad leaves finally at 7.58.33Am while Mom takes a break laying down in the nest.
* Mom flies out at 8.01.03Am
