So there is knowing for sure but at 7.08Pm tonight Hope was at the nest feeding Pt9. Hope flew off and an eagle landed on the right tree trunk. This eagle though has marks on its right eye and defensive wounds on its feet and I do not think Hope could have gotten these types of marks in four minutes. Tail feathers do match Chandlers but that is only a guess. The eagle was in, ate, and left.
7.08Pm Hope 7.12Pm ???? At 5.51Pm an eagle was perched in the trees. It is the same eagle that came to the nest at 7.12Pm © 2023-2024 Wild Streaming

Hopeful yesterday's injured eagle was Chandler -- doubt Hope would have tolerated a stranger landing in nest and eating PT9's fish. Also Chandler's orbital ridge is less pronounced than Hope's, making his eyes look wider/rounder; his front neckline is less jagged than Hope's; and his head feathers in back tend to feather together in almost a V at top before hanging down straight down at bottom. But maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part. Still, I remember Justice disappeared from DC Police Academy nest for 19 days before reappearing.

Yesterday
These are some pics from yesterday. The Male that was seen on April 15 first at the nest returned yesterday. Hope has allowed it to be on the nest with PT9 and did fly off. The Male eats and does offer PT9 some bites.
