1:16 pm Valor 1 working on that back railing. Looked like he was having a conversation with Starr.

1:13 pm found all three in the nest when I checked in and recorded some of their visit. Thinking Valor 1 is up on the attic, Valor 2 on the stump branch and Starr in the nest. That is the best I can see. Valor 1 flies off and returns with a very long stick. Almost topples Starr.

Sandy, I was recording when Starr was just finishing up her meal and the Valors came in.....here's a short clip.....Starr went out to the short stump, Valor 1 up top and Valor 2 was eating. As of now, 2 pm, I believe that is Valor 2 up in the attic.....and as I was posting Valor 2 flew off and I missed it.

1:19 pm Valor 1 up to the attic followed by Starr. Then within a minute he is down to the nest. Valor 2 still on the stump branch.

Sandy, I put together this video from the time that Starr finishes her meal (1:07 pm), until Starr flies off the short stump (1:28 pm). It shows the Valors coming in and where they originally went to....Valor 1 went up to the attic, Starr went to the short stump, and Valor 2 was eating the leftovers.

Thanks, Sue, for the video. And I am glad you had the same ID's as me as I was having to do a bit of guessing.

3:22 pm - I didn't get a chance to post these earlier as I had to go out but I had been recording at this time and I think this is one of the Valors....possibly Valor 2....coming in with some food

They must have been followed to the nest as they were vocalizing once they landed

Hi, Sue, I am editing the video now from that visit. It is definitely Valor 2. I got a good look at his left eye, which you know is an excellent ID for V2. It definitely had the black eye off the pupil, giving him that "crazy eye" look.
It's a great event to get outside and enjoy nature. I find it very exciting no matter how many times I see bald eagles.

Thank you Joan! I have been having trouble getting a clear view of the eyes but have been looking for that mark. Maybe if I stop trying to view on my phone I may actually see it, lol.

Good morning, Philippe, Sue, Joan and all Trio lovers. Yesterday was a great day to watch the Trio eagles. Thanks for the night watch, Philippe. Kudos the videos and posts, Sue and Joan. Looks like it will be a beautiful day today to see our eagles.

Good Morning Sandy, Philippe, Joan, and all Trio Lovers!

Thanks for those posts Sandy....I didn't catch Valor 2 flying into the nest this morning but had been recording before he did and then after he landed. That big clump of whatever that is, was not there before Valor 2 came in so he must have brought it in. He was vocalizing quite a bit and looking up as if someone was flying above so I was wondering if that clump was some sort of food and he was saving it for Starr. I guess we will see if someone comes back and starts eating it....doesn't look tempting at all to me though.

Here's Valor 2 just after he landed where he is standing on top of that clump

And him calling out and looking up

I've been watching/recording since Valor 2 left and no one has been back to the nest during that time.

I have been recording since my last post and have not seen anyone at the nest....but, one of my recordings was a little messed up for about 30 minutes so it's possible that someone could have come then.

I have been trying to record, when not near my laptop. Except I had to leave for around 45 minutes & my recorder wouldn't start. That was around 10:45 to 11:30 nest time.

I recorded from 11:50 am - 2:20 pm, and then again from 2:50 pm - 3 pm and no eagles have been to the nest during that time.

I did not see any visits to the nest since my last post. Guessing our Trio was off having a good time somewhere else today. Hoping to see them tomorrow.

Have a great night everyone!

Good morning, Philippe, Sue, Joan and all Trio lovers. As Philippe noted last night, the cam is offline. Hopefully, it will be restored soon. Edit: just saw where the Stewards posted the cam will be back online when someone is available to access the office server. YouTube limits the length of a live stream.
