11:27 am Valor 2 hops up the V railing and then to the attic. He flies from there. Valor 1 still calling out. The eaglets are low in the nest.
I need to leave for awhile. If anyone is watching, please post your observations. Thanks!“Eagles: When they walk, they stumble. They are not what one would call graceful. Re: Trio of Eagles 2019 - 2020
Thanks Sandy! I am going to go through my recording and will post some activity shortly
About 10 minutes after Valor 2 left, Valor 1 began to feed Snowy while Starr stood by. Then Starr left a few minutes later (around 11:40 am). Valor 1 continued to feed Snowy for a few minutes and has been on the nest since that time. Spring did not get any bites during this feeding. Here are some s'caps:
Starr was a little upset that Valor 1 was feeding Snowy, I guess...she was vocalizing And this was toward the end of the feeding, Snowy did a PS and then was coming back for more food. Just posting as it shows how big Snowy is and also shows a little bit of the difference in coloring between Snowy & Spring...Snowy seems a little darker to me, but it could just be the lighting.

Re: Trio of Eagles 2019 - 2020
12:10 pm - around this time Valor 1 started feeding the eaglets again. Snowy was getting all of the pieces at the beginning of the feeding, and as of 12:35 pm - the feeding is still finishing up and this last half of the feeding has gone to Spring. Valor 1 is doing a great job, taking his time with each of the eaglets.
Some s'caps from Snowy's part of the feeding And as Snowy is getting a piece of fish, Spring does a PS And now a big piece for Snowy

Some s'caps of Spring's bites during this recent feeding. There were quite a few pieces given to Spring when s/he was behind Snowy so it was hard to get shots of those bites, but I've noticed over the last couple of days that Spring is really going in and grabbing pieces when s/he thinks it's the right time. And s/he swallows those pieces pretty quickly. Kind of like hiding the food from Snowy so as not to get bonked, lol.
Big piece here
Re: Trio of Eagles 2019 - 2020

Re: Trio of Eagles 2019 - 2020

Re: Trio of Eagles 2019 - 2020
1:14 pm - Starr grabs a big bite of fish and goes to give it to one of the eaglets...no takers...too big
She does go to the side and breaks it up into pieces to feed Snowy, although I couldn't really see who got the bites but assuming Snowy was up and ready
But here, I think it is Spring that gets this bite about a minute later
Re: Trio of Eagles 2019 - 2020
1:15 pm - and Spring got bonked by Snowy....
Then Snowy got a piece
Re: Trio of Eagles 2019 - 2020
1:18 pm - there were only a handful of bites handed out....all of a sudden it sounded like rain and Starr stopped feeding and went to get the kids under cover, pulling them in, under her
Re: Trio of Eagles 2019 - 2020
1:19 pm - Starr in her mumbrella position
