Valor 2 & Starr were on the nest at about 2:25. My laptop is not wanting to do screencaps right now. Starr left at 2:31 & flew across the water to land in a tree. Valor 2 left at 2:37. They seemed to be just surveying their territory from the nest. My laptop froze up when the first one landed, so did miss 2 or 3 minutes.

2:55 pm caught Starr landing in the nest with some food. What I saw but didn't capture was what looked like a juvie following her in. It quickly left or was chased away by another adult. It certainly landed right in the middle of Starr's big old fish food.

I got a message from eagle007 (we post her videos here sometimes). She said a juvie did chase Starr to the nest. She is not sure if she captured it. Of course that was when I was restarting my laptop, because it was freezing up every time I wanted to record. I will post it here, if she got the video. I kept hearing what I thought was last year's eaglet earlier.

3:37 pm I had to leave school with Starr still on the nest just watching. When I got home and tuned in, found Starr and Valor 2 on the nest.

Big thanks, Catspairadice. I thought I saw a juvie following her to the nest. Oh it would be nice to think Orion is still hanging around. Smiles Hope she captured it so we can see!

Then at 3:58 pm the cam began to move and ended up facing the river. Now, it looks like there are two eagles in this tree. Someone maybe can verify what I am seeing or not seeing.

4:20 pm hearing beautiful eagle chatter. Update from the Stewards. This area is called the Backwaters. The river is what we see on the migration cam. Good to know as I have always referred to the water as the river.

Hi Sandy and Catspairadice! I was recording at the time the Juvie came in....no sound, unfortunately but I have attached the video below....the first part is in regular time, and then the last half I have slowed down to half speed so we can see the Juvie a little better.

Sue, I love your family portrait posted earlier. We probably need to look for some of these to do another ID portrait again. Will try to catch one with the sun shining brightly too.

5:00 pm after a few vocals, Valor 1 hops up to the attic branch and Starr hops on to the porch branch.
Valor 2 still in the nest eating on Starr's fish. Now I think I may have this right?

Great video & pictures, Sue! So much action! Did anyone capture video of the juvie flying around the nest (after this video) & Valor 1 going after it? Sounded like a conversation between the 2. I am uploading it to YouTube now.

Here is the video of Valor 1 going after the juvie. Most of the video is watching & listening to what is occurring off the nest, though I did enjoy watching Starr during all of this. This video starts at 15:45. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOVLHxAJy6c
