Re: Berry College Nest Thread 2018-2019
Good day Bev, Mom and Dad Berry and all watching. I popped in expecting to see an empty nest and look who’s here. I think after reading chat, that they’ve been here about an hour but haven’t scrolled back. Nice to see them still here working on their nest.

July 3 at 8:17 AM ·
As we begin to prepare for the 2019-20 eagle season, we wanted to provide a quick update with plans for the year.
· We will be replacing the two nest cameras and plan to mount the approach cam up a bit higher on the pole
· The website will be transitioned over to the new look of the Berry College site
· The Tumblr blog account will cease and updates will be posted directly to the Berry website in addition to Facebook
· We will be transitioning from Livestream chat to a new chat product that allows for more robust filtering of content and moderation
These changes are all geared at making the eagle watching experience more enjoyable for all and we will share additional information in the weeks to come.

Both eagles are visiting the nest this afternoon. They’re probably enjoying the lovely summer weather as much as we are! Just a reminder that the eagles are typically at the nest less often during the summer. They will return more frequently as we near September.

As we prepare for the upcoming eagle season, there will be times that the live stream may need to be taken offline in order to conduct maintenance. Currently, the computers used for streaming are being upgraded and should be brought back online by early next week. The cameras are not yet being replaced. Thanks for your patience.

Hi Bev, I guess Ma and Pa will be returning from vacation soon and will start their nestorations. They already have a nice soft bed of greenery... I guess I’d better start paying more attention now.

Re: Berry College Nest Thread 2018-2019
Good Morning Bev and Berry College watchers. Found this on FB from Berry College this morning; guess it’s almost time to unlock the new season thread.
On August 27th, the eagles visited for the first time since our new cameras went live. It was a brief return, and it seems they are scouting the area and beginning their work on the nest. We'll likely see them more often over the coming weeks, and work on the nest will continue until the nesting season begins!

On August 27th, the eagles visited for the first time since our new cameras went live. It was a brief return, and it seems they are scouting the area and beginning their work on the nest. We'll likely see them more often over the coming weeks, and work on the nest will continue until the nesting season begins!

Re: Berry College Nest Thread 2018-2019
Hi Bev and everyone watching this nest
I found this on FB today with thanks to Berry College
On September 1st, the eagles visited periodically throughout the evening, bringing a few sticks to fix the nest up for the coming season. One of our eagle-eyed viewers even caught some footage of them roughhousing with one of those sticks. Check it out here:
And thanks to Donna Nickerson who also posted a cute video but I couldn’t put it here.
9/1/19 The eagles stopped in for a couple of visits late afternoon/evening. Here's a clip of Dad bringing in a stick, M hissing & beaking at him, brief stick war, Dad drops the stick on her before moving it to the back rail. (I could almost see Mom rolling her eyes at the end, lol.)
