NEST ACTIVITY - THURSDAY JANUARY 17th

2:07pm Harriet to the attic via veranda, vocal. She sees M15 coming.

E12 moves a pond frond.

2:10pm M15 to the nest with a rabbit

NEST ACTIVITY - THURSDAY JANUARY 17th

Big Rabbit

Harriet flies off the attic southwest at 2:11pm

2:12pm M15 begins feeding E12, E13 not interested and turns away

2:18pm Feeding stops, M15 watchful, E12 goes over by E13 on the rail, M15 to the pond at 2:20pm to get a drink.

2:22 M15 leaves the pond and flies back to the attic.

2:28pm M15's feet...he still has the black dot on his left foot.

2:50pm M15's wings spread cooling in the breeze.

3:08pm King Fisher flutters on cam2

3:27pm M15 to the nest, E's up and interested, feeding begins, E12 agressive.

3:34pm Harriet to the nest with a fish.

3:36pm Harriet takes over feeding from the rabbit, E12. E13 resting on the rail.

3:36pm M15 leaves the nest to outer branch, feaking.

3:39pm Harriet feeds E13, E12 goes to the other side of the nest.

3:45pm E12 back over to Harriet to eat.

3:51pm E12 is finished and goes to the other side of the nest.

3:57pm Harriet finishes feeding and E13 goes to the rails to rest.

4:36pm E13 waddles over to Harriet and she feed h/h a bite or two then E13 nibbles on a rabbit bone

4:41am E12 moves over to Harriet and is aggressive toward E13

Lol at 4:49pm Harriet offers a bite of fur to each E neither accept it. Too funny

4:51pm E12 picks up a pile of fur and eats it Harriet watches closely.

4:52pm Harriet to porch spike, then hops to attic, she's starting to use different places to show E's routes.......

4:54pm Harriet to the pond. She seems cautious.

4:59pm Harriet waddles up on the sand and flys off to the attic.

5:19pm M15 brings in a fish head, begins feeding

5:22pm M15 feeding bites to Harriet

Harriet in vocalizing and wants control of the food.

5:25pm M15 to the attic then to the pond.

5:28pm Harriet feeding E's. E12 show aggression again.

5:31pm M15 flies to the CSPS. (Church Side Pond Snag)

5:33pm E13 eating now too.

NEST ACTIVITY - THURSDAY JANUARY 17th

5:42pm Both E's have full crops and feeding is over. Harriet to the attic, feaks.

Both Es watch Harriet and M15 so closely now....they're taking it all in.

5:44pm can see E's wingersizing on cam 2

5:45pm Harriet flies off the attic to the pond.

5:50pm M15 to the nest moving sticks around, and still trying to get food off that hoof, lol

5:53pm Oh here we go again...Mr. De-Fur is at it again lol

5:53pm Harriet to the grass at the pond.

5:56pm Harriet to the nest with grass.

The sun drops and gives us a glimpse of its last rays, signaling the end of another beautiful day in the pasture

5:59pm the IR light comes on

6:00pm It's a family affair on the SWFEC nest...fur's a flyin, crops are full, Mama allopreens, bedtime baths lol, cleaning the nest....all is good

6:02pm M15 up to the veranda, then the attic, then the outer attic. Harriet drops back down to the nest.

6:10p E13 is moving a small stick back n forth....too cute

6:33pm All settled for the night

Hey everybody! Another new video by LadyHawk!!

M has done it again - he finds & brings in a wild boar pig hoof this morning. E12 is up and ready to eat this new delicacy & gives E13 a couple of bonks to wait their turn. It is hard to pull off the bone - not much meat was on it but M is working it. Closeups of it at 7:28. M flies off and E13 goes to investigate this new item and nibbles it and puts his talon on it at 11:18 - I bet it tasted gamy! lol Thanks for watching!

E13 is sitting next to the pig hoof that M brought in and drags it closer and holds it with one foot and pulls. I think E13 realized it was harder then it looked lol E13 gives up trying to self feed (which will not happen for about another 2-3 weeks) and decides it to lay on it instead! My bet is that E13 will be the first one to attempt self feeding and succeed when that time comes! Thank you for watching!

7:10am - E's huddle together to stay warm

9:09am - Looks like a pine cone makes for a good pillow...?

9:18am - Harriet is perched on the attic watching over her territory while the E's
are starting to wake up.

9:18am - E12 pin feathers!

9:44am - E12 ever growing feet/talons!

E13 pin feathers and E12 feet.

Around 10:12am M15 brought in a barely alive fish. Eaglet on the right began eating while the one on the left played it cool. And then I guess hunger was too much and the one on the left went for a bite and got bonked. So this made my ID for me: E13 on the left, E13 on the right. And as I am typing, E13 hasn't received any fish. Just biding his time.

10:24am: M15 moved the fish over to the rails (and closer to E13) so that now E13 is getting lots of fish bites in peace.

9:53am - - M15 delivers an armored catfish - E12 eats. E12 is agressive to E13.

10:11am #2 - M15 brings fish #2 in for the morning!

10:22am - E12 was getting more food than E13 at first. M15 decided to moved the fish over
towards E13 and E13 ate in peace. You can see how large E12's crop is.
