Our little baby has become an escape artist; left the crib today

Crawling further up and out of the bole

Jak flies in with a fish and does a double-take when he sees baby out

Audacity seems to be moving all around trying to encourage baby to get back in the bole; Jk digs the bole out trying to make it deeper
Baby is very warm, beak open and panting. Even though the wind is blowing, the nest has no shade and is very high up.

Baby is back in the bole after trying to seek shade under Mom but she kept moving. Finally went up in front of Dad

Audacity leaves; Jak on Daddy duty; that is one messy nest what with pieces and parts of food scattered everywhere. Jak looks like he is trying to pile all the wings and other uneaten parts in one pile

checking in on the little one; according to chat, not much action today. baby has been sleeping most of the day after it's exploring yesterday; good feeding today

Both Audacity and Jak have been on the nest at times this afternoon. Baby has been following the parents around seeking shade and for a feeding. Audacity flew to the Cam housing and took seaweed with her that covered the Cam; luckily it fell off when she flew off. She came back to the nest with a nice lichen covered stick to build up the crib rails. Jak got up and parents shared in a wonderful tandem feeding.
