Yes there is, if you look at the nest info for Sauces, we really don't know how old this egg is. There was one egg on the nest then the cam went out for quite a while. When it came back there was one egg but we don't know if it's the same egg. Look at the nest history for last year, LOTS of eggs.
According to Dr. Sharpe: Expected hatch 3/10-3/22. So still lots of time.

Very sad news. The Sauces egg is broken.

This is so heartbreaking Jak and Audacity have been so faithful in their incubation. For reasons that no one seems to know why, her eggs break.

They have already moved on; neither eagle is on the nest tonight.

One of the mods on chat said they didn't think there would be a second clutch; no matings seen in the last few days; only time will tell.

Surprise Audacity laid an egg yesterday afternoon at 18:20pm (6:20 pm PST)
CONGRATULATIONS AUDACITY AND JAK

Audacity appears to be using delayed incubation; possible egg# in a couple of days

Poor Audacity and Jak; her egg broke about 10:30 am today for another egg.

Heartbreak has come again to Jak and Audacity. About 14:55pm Audacity laid another egg but it broke immediately; flattened too.

So sorry to post that Audacity just laid egg #3 of the second clutch and it was unsuccessful. I don't know, but It seems the eggs are being laid this way now. (Sauces)
