Hellgate: What a mess, the egg got lost...

I am baffled. I just saw there was an egg, is there still? And does Iris have a new "real" mate?, other than Louis? Does anyone know? Also, Dunrovin has a complete, almost change, Harriet did not come back, new female named her Fancy with Swoop, anyone following there who can see posts (comments) to understand. But moreso here, what is transpiring. I would be thrilled if Iris had a good mate finally and suspect other agree.

Iris has accepted the new male, by the way and he is a real gem. He is bringing her huge fish and she has caught a few, herself since the egg was kicked out of the nest. But, last night, right before midnight, Iris laid the next egg so now we wait to see what the new male will do. Will he accept it and brood it plus protect it and Iris or will he kick this one out, too? Oh please, I hope he keeps it!! ....

Carolyn, I' am on your side with my heart: Have lost a beautyful 1,5 year old persian chocolate cat with suffering gastric carcinoma 30 years ago. There was no way to survive for my cute "little brown bear" named Chaplin. I decided to let him go by euthanizing and get a salvation by the doctor.

Oh Ferenz, what a precious name for your kitty! That is so hard. They are a big part of our lives although many people do not understand. I do and am thinking of you. Pebbles seems to be doing OK although I know misses Eddy as I do. At such a young age to lose a loved pet is almost worse in my mind so I am sending joy to your heart for the time you had him. carolyn
