First osprey has arrived on Paltamo nest. It might be male Penna...

Clarification: My assumption about Penna's return was apparently a mistake!

I got a note by user Pennies from Looduskalender-forum:

Penna has obviously perished last year, according to the the nest builder and ringer Vesa Hyyryläinen. Vesa also assumes that the osprey today in the nest could be the female Liisa, who arrived after Miila left the nest last year. According to some followers the osprey today is the same as yesterday.

Great news from Looduskalender forum:

PALTAMO
Tommi, the male from last summer has arrived, the yellow ring TNN.
Tommi did serve Miila for some time last year after Penna had been missing. But later a new female Liisa chased Miila away.
Also Liisa has been seen in the cam nest this season. But so far no sign of Miila ..

There has been a new female in the nest today, not Liisa nor Miila >

I briefly rewound the YT timeline to 12:41:22 ff. Ok, so this is the New Flame > she has a light chest plumage and is not ringed. The boss Tommie has a much darker breast plumage and distinctive markings on his head >>

Intruding osprey, presumably a female, tried to land in the nest.
Tommi's mate 'New Female' took off and chased the rival away...
