Ospreys were extinct as a breeding bird in the UK after being wiped out by persecution, but they are back and thriving once again!
After years of successful breeding at this location, the last few have seen much drama and unsuccessful attempts of birds settling down to breed. We’ve been busy improving the location including constructing a nest so we are really hoping this is the year we see osprey nest again at this iconic location. Stay tuned!
