On the last day of August all five of the Glaslyn Osprey family are still with us. Glaslyn born chicks tend to migrate later than most ospreys, with an average migration age of 103.5 days. Mrs G generally leaves during the first few days of September, so perhaps this is a factor in them staying longer?
Today the three chicks are 97, 96 and 93 days old, so we are making the most of watching our beautiful ospreys while we still can.
