Best Balbuforum snap of the day: Yesterday at 16:11 CEST Oura gets upwinds and takes off (to the nest cam pole?)

At 13:05 CEST - Sylva joined her 3rd chick Oura and took off. Oura then gave a good performance of helicoptering at 13:07...

17:42 CEST - Sylva with fish, Oura in front, Sibling Thala? behind.

Sylva took off, fledgling followed later and Oura alone again...

Despite the impatience of many and the perfectly disturbing, alarmist and anxiety-provoking observations of others, Oura finally took off, in the presence of Sylva, in very normal times. He had been hovering for a long time or crossing the area which showed that there was nothing to worry about in the vicinity of his flight.
Oura doesn't come back, but Reda joins Sylva on the nest to deliver her a fish. She offers him a few mouthfuls, while obviously he would like to recover the prey ...

Stunning photo of the day

Hello, and thank you JM for the photos of balbus in flight.
On the other hand, on the one showing the 5 (and which I paste below), I thought that on the left it was a nozzle. But if this is the complete family, is it the upper side of the left wing that we see? And suddenly they rolled up a thermal?
