Here it is! A third egg for Mrs G and Aran laid this evening, 19th April at 19:01.This is now egg number 54 for Mrs G – incredible!

Mrs G und Aran got disturbed by an intruding osprey (banded with blue darvic ring 3AX right leg). Aran chased the stranger who landed on the nest rim & took off. Apparently it was the same intruding bird that was sighted in Dyfi.

A second Glaslyn chick hatched this evening at 17:59. Chick number 45 for Mrs G and number 15 for Aran.

Chick number three is making progress!
This video from 8:59 this morning shows the remarkable moment the crack gets visibly bigger as chick 3 tries to peck its way through the eggshell. It might be time for you to turn on the live stream again......
