Congrats to Mr & Mrs O :woohoo: Their 3rd chick has hatched :rh:

There were no tweets on the site but when I rolled the video stream back to about noon nest time Mrs O was just getting up to feed the chicks. The egg shell was still there but clearly 3 chicks were visible and being fed :woohoo: I have recorded a video which I will upload to YouTube and will post some s'caps later.

The nest and the osprey family were all in good shape today after the wind storm yesterday. Some s'caps snipped from the site today.

Hi Ferenz. I don't always have time to watch the cam during the day so I snip some s'caps from the site. There were quite a few good ones today :thumlft: The Bobblet trio are certainly growing very fast :rh:

I was watching a feeding today and had to turn the cam off because #1 was being a huge bully, attacking both siblings  The youngest one is so much smaller and every time it tried to move closer to Mrs O for some fish #1 pecked it into submission and it just laid down in the nest :cry1: I was recording so I went out of the room and left it on for awhile. I have uploaded the video to YouTube here.

I snipped a few s'caps from the video. This is Mrs O trying to get out of the way of Mr O approaching the nest in the wind.

Every time #3 got up #1 turned around and pecked it again :cry1:

Just found this site today and noticed that there hasn't been an update in a while so here is a pic of the 3 of them. Looks like #3 is a bit smaller than the others, but that is par for the course (hahaha see what it did there?). Anyway #3 got a nice big crop at this feeding and looks to be doing OK.

Welcome to the Savannah Osprey 'nest' Duck_Keeper. I have been away for the past 25 days and didn't access the internet at all. Thanks for posting your s'cap of the not-so-little osprey chicks. Wow, they sure have grown since I last saw them :thumlft: I'm glad to see that #3 is getting enough to eat and doing very well.

I had a look at the site today and snipped some s'caps.

The osprey chicks are growing and developing so quickly :thumlft: Fledge day is just around the corner :woohoo:

Here are some s'caps I snipped from the site; I wasn't able to watch too much today.

A fish had just been delivered to the nest. In the scuffle to get the fish,
it slipped off the nest

All 3 wondering where the fish went.

Some serious wingercising going on :thumlft:
