The tree-nesting population in central and eastern Europe declined from c. 4,000 pairs to extirpation, before restoration efforts in Germany and Poland returned it to c. 20 pairs. Significant further efforts are needed to fully restore it across its former
range, which included Germany, Poland, Russia, Belarus and the Baltic States (European Peregrine Falcon Working Group in litt. 2007)

In Trzebiez peregrine falcon pair nesting since 2015. That year they raised 3 chicks (1 own and 2 foster chicks). In 2016 they had 3 own chicks. In 2017 Peregrine Project Poland set up webcam camera at nest.. but they have no luck, peregrines choosen another nest where they raised 3 chicks, this nest was only visted by the White Tailed Eagles. But in early 2018 peregrines back to this nest, and everything looks like they choose this nest.

Resident female - left leg green band, right leg black band with code 9 BO - She probably comes from Germany, and she was reintroducted from tree nest platform.


Resident male - right leg yellow band, left leg blue band - We have to confirmed his band code but he definetly comes from Poland natural hatch in urban area.

We are not sure... but maybe we arledy have an egg at this nest - nest bowl is so deep and we cannot confirm that.

Female stays in nest for the night. Sounds of the wood are soo amazing at this cam.

Good morning! I saw an egg But nest bowl is so deep so I cant say when exactly It was laid.
