This falcon nest is located in the Cathedral Cove area of Anacapa Island off the coast of Southern California. The Institute for Wildlife Studies has been observing the falcons there since 2013, and you can find the history of the nest territory here - http://www.iws.org/CC_History.html. According to the Institute for Wildlife Studies, this may be the first live peregrine cam on a completely natural nest site (no buildings or man-made nesting structures).
They laid their first egg March 24, and may lay up to three more eggs before they start to incubate them full-time.
