A bad and sad battle begins, SE28 in submissive position, SE27 is fed.

We are seeing increasing aggression between the chicks. This sibling rivalry is normal behaviour in many raptors. It may be seen when food is scarce and usually neither adult eagle will intervene to prevent this aggression.

This natural behaviour upsets some of our viewers so we have ceased streaming nest cam for the time being. We are also streaming our third camera located at Ironbark Roost as we have the other adjacent camera running.

We will re-evaluate every few days. Updates can be found at https://www.facebook.com/Sea.EagleCAM

Dad in with food and soon Lady arrives. SE 28 was up top and was fed while SE 27 was assume sleeping in bowl. Even after SE 27 woke up and took a few bites Lady continued to also feed SE 28.
After approx 48 bites for SE28 ! :woohoo: SE 27 let SE 28 know it was her/his turn for the rest of the meal.
3:37pm Lady just arrived
3:56pm SE28 after meal is over.
4:33pm SE 27 sleeping. SE28 looking around.
