G'morning all :)
A flying fox pays a late night visit. You'll notice how upset the eagles get. 🤭

Many of our Eagle Watchers have been asking about whether we can intervene and take SE26 from the nest for veterinary assessment and care,
We are complying with our approved strategy of non-intervention and watching closely. SE26 on the nest is safe, eating, and getting stronger. We acknowledge SE26 has problems and have strategies in place to step in if required when all is authorised. If it is agreed by the authorising authority that it is safe and appropriate to intervene, we shall.
Should SE26 fall from the nest, there are arrangements in place to take it into care. Voir moins

G'morning all :)
From yesterday morning in Sydney...
While Lady and #26 work on polishing off what looks to be a bird, Dad brings in a fish. This seems to confuse #26 and Lady seems to get tired of watching his futility. So she says,"Gimme' that!", and takes over.

#26 decides it's time and flies to the camera tree. Once there he explores, gets tangled in a tie-string, works his was outta' that and goes up a little higher. He hangs out a lonnnng time and I cut some of that out of the video.
He eventually gets tired of getting dive bombed and flies back home to the nest, only to get dive bombed some more. 🤭

YW BillA
Next steps will be harder, a correct self-feeding with all sort of preys, furries or fishes and last will be the moment to fish
and/or hunt...
But all in good time SE26 !

I posted also a little message to SE25
May be too early but i will be able able to erase it if we and also SE25 are enought :luck:
