HD Video - 27th September, 2020 - SE26 is certainly the more vocal of the two seaglets. Both seaglets were watching the lorikeets playing above them and SE26 starting "talking" to them. Cute seaglet honks/squonks

5th January, 2021, Daisy Duck (as our chatters call her) has laid an egg in the middle of the Sea-Eagle's nest (hidden under leaves). Ducks practice delayed incubation, so she will likely add another egg each day till she's ready to incubate......BUT.....as you all know this nest has two very large owners. Dad and Lady spend much of their summer at Goat Island or their River Roost at Ermington, however they do visit. We haven't seen them for a couple of weeks so they are likely due to visit again soon.
Daisy is a Pacific Black Duck and she tends to visit each morning. More info on the species can be found here: https://www.birdlife.org.au/bird-profil ... black-duck

Jan 11 2021 Morning.
thanks to Lyndy U'Ren for posting on Sydney Sea Eagle Cam FB page.

Check out the footage at 8:58ish. Daisy duck took off when Dad Eagle arrived and didn’t have time to cover her eggs. Dad eagle has a poke around and then covers up the eggs! :thumlft:

All is well so far. Lady came today and did the same as Dad has. Poke the duck eggs a bit, then pick up some of the down and drops it closer to nest rim , goes to branch and soon flies off.

Sadly 2 ravens took what looked like all the eggs and ate them.
Daisy came back to nest and settled down in the empty bowl. :(
