27th June, 2024 - After many days of waiting, Lady finally laid her first egg of 2024. Dad joined Lady in the nest bowl, till he realised he wasn't going to be able to help. Lady then got down to business and a few minutes later, one big push and SE33 /egg arrived.

Here we go again, welcome to Season 2024!

June 30: more news - SE34 egg has arrived. Lady was sitting, fluffed up, breathing hard, pushing.... and with one final push at 21:02, the second egg was here. 75hours 34 minutes after the first egg . Now full incubation begins

Great news. Welcome SE34. Finally seen out of the shell at 7:38 this morning. The chick took 20h43m to hatch from pip. The chicks hatched 30h18m apart - a good catch-up after the initial delayed incubation.
