5:10pm - lots of dark specks on water at left, some take off and fly just above the surface

Good Morning
10:32am - looking south along the shore: a few gulls and a heron wading
10:36am - quiet at the empty nest

10:44am - looking beyond perch tree, another great blue heron wading in the bay

[Lynne]

10:54am - east of OT, crow on upper branch, Northern flicker landing on lower branch to left
10:56am - as WA cam pans, next see flicker flying from top of OT (no scap)

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2018

Good Morning
8:51am - windy morning at WR
gulls and crows seen flying and along the shore this morning; no birds observed at nest (several live checks and also using replay)
11:07am - gulls on water and among rocks near PN

[Lynne]

11:18am - nest tree in the sunlight, clouds mostly obscure view of mountains in the distance
1:22am - empty nest...

4:02pm - little ones visit the nest, first a Chestnut-backed Chickadee stopped by
next a Red-breasted Nuthatch hopped onto the nest, picked up a little something and left

4:31pm - meanwhile, dramatic cloud scapes continue over the bay, hear chickadee vocals in the background

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2018

Good Afternoon
4:53pm - bird flies to top of OT, a blur on WA cam view (2 scaps)
5:55pm - still there an hour later, not sure what this is, perhaps a small raptor? only see tip of tail when WA cam pans OT

5:56pm - mystery bird flew from top left branch of OT, down and to right

[Lynne]

6:08pm - possibly same bird, within a minute of leaving flew to back OT
