Amy, can you see the CU cam with the North cam? It would be useful if we knew what's slipping.
I can also try to take a look a little later. Thanks!

Re: WHITE ROCK 2021~2022 Observation & Discussion
yesterday/ last evening at 8:33pm can hear some noise of metal? moving and the CU cam moves a little bit. Then at 8:34pm is when CU cam slipped suddenly.
Checked CU and WA rewinds before and after and do not see or hear anything that would of caused the slip. Was thinking like a large animal ,or a branch breaking or strong gust of wind.
--------------------------
scap-Looking at CU housing via CU cam. Looks like the cover/housing is missing.
We should be able to get a better look at it with NORTH cam ( I am not able to control NC)

Thanks, DDuckies - I'll try logging into the North cam and see what I can see.

Here's what I found -
This is new preset 15 - it looks to me as if the metal strap holding the top part of the cam may have snapped?
These all click quite a bit bigger; this is preset 16, zoomed in further.
I didn't make a preset for this - it shows a bit higher up.
If anyone can find an earlier picture of the CU cam from the North cam, that might help confirm what's given way. I'll try to get another set of pictures later in the day when the sun might be at a better angle.

Thanks, Lynne! This at least gives an idea of the proper angle.

Good morning, everyone! Here are two more pictures of the CU cam - the light was a bit better this morning.
David Hancock knows that the camera is in a precarious position - and that it looks as if the eagles have left for their summer break - so he will be doing his best to get someone there to reattach the cam and do the routine cleaning and maintenance we weren't able to do last year.
